Annoying mouse hover text
Currently, When you mouse over a channel in the Twitch sidebar, a tooltip hover text appears with the title of the stream. This text should disappear when you stop hovering over the channel with your mouse, but it stays there permanently covering the stream you are trying to watch if you move your mouse to a different window/monitor. This is a major annoyance for those who have a monitor to the left of the one they watch Twitch on, as it obstructs the stream any time you move the mouse over to the left monitor.
Please make this hover text disappear instantly when the mouse is not hovering over it.

I am still able to trigger this issue in Vivaldi (one of the many Chromium forks) on a frequent basis. Twitch browser window on the right side monitor so the mouse moves across the expanded left side navigation when moving between monitors.

This is fixed for me now. Not sure if Twitch fixed it or it fixed when I updated Firefox yesterday.

so annoying
ublock origin
For most links:
twitch.tv##div:has(.online-side-nav-channel-tooltip__body)For streamed together links:
twitch.tv##div:has(.side-nav-guest-star-tooltip__body)For offlined streamer links
twitch.tv##div:has(.dAvGIo)----------------
For the Streaming Together popup (under the live streaming title not the sidebar), the popup is blocking access to the volume control so you have to wave the mouse around.:
twitch.tv##div:has(.fQWmNN)

On the channel list (on the left), when one hovers the mouse over a channel information pops up in the page. This hover state almost always gets stuck open, even when the mouse remains in the browser window.
The pop-up will remain permanently open over the Channel creators video content.
What should happen: When hovering the mouse over a channel the channel pop-up should be shown. When the mouse leaves that channel the pop-up should always disappear.
The hover state should close on several events, including:
- when the mouse leaves the browser window
- mouse moves away from the channel hover area.
- mouse moves over Titles and link in the left column (example: "Show More", "Live Channels", "Recommended Categories", "Show Less", "For You", "Followed Channels") and any white-space in the left column that is not a channel -

Yup, please fix!
I have this too on both Firefox and Chrome for 3 or 4 weeks now. I usually have Twitch on my secondary monitor on the right and everytime I move the mouse over to the main monitor, I have to go over the channel list which opens this annoying mouse hover tooltip that doesn't go away on its own. -

only solution I know is a ublock origin filter that blocks it entirely
twitch.tv##div:has(.online-side-nav-channel-tooltip__body)

+1! It's very annoying and has been for a couple of weeks now. I use Microsoft edge, bug i have also heard this was a problem for chrome/firefox browser users. I contacted twitch support about this issue but they sent me to this platform. (also weird that we have to upvote a bug in order to get it fixed.... but okay.) I made a small video about this issue for the support team to highlight the problem even more.

It would be an extremely easy fix for them in CSS probably too. Add a 1px margin to the left of the sidebar that's not linked to any streamer selection. That way you exit the hover just before your mouse glides over to another monitor.

This is driving me mad as well, I would love for the devs to fix this tooltip issue.
It sometimes happens even if you stay within the same window! I’ve tried workarounds with userChrome.css and extensions because it annoyed me so much, but they’re unreliable or janky. Pleaseee fix thissss -

This is driving me crazy. I might have to drop Twitch Turbo and find other forms of entertainment if this isn't fixed soon.
