I have this same annoying issue on PC browser (Edge).
Made a small videoclip to highlight this problem/bug.

+1! It's very annoying and has been for a couple of weeks now. I use Microsoft edge, bug i have also heard this was a problem for chrome/firefox browser users. I contacted twitch support about this issue but they sent me to this platform. (also weird that we have to upvote a bug in order to get it fixed.... but okay.) I made a small video about this issue for the support team to highlight the problem even more.
