We need a Food and Drink Club!

Food brings people together in more ways than any other category. We are multicultural, feeding each other across this globe through Twitch. We teach each other about our cultures, share our skills and using this diversity to help broaden our understanding of this world and each other.

Food is a legacy that we pass on from generation to generation and we are passing this on through Twitch.

    Food is 100% International!!! Cultures, regions - from everyday sustenance to preservation, from prep to service ... one can sure learn from another!!! Food & Drink is a hugely beneficial community to those who want to learn, share, inquire, and even the "behind the scenes" view! A "VOICE" is so needed to extend the reach, to grow!!!

    Food and drink streams bring educational, wholesome value to the platform and are one of my favorite ways to "unwind" when not feeling like enduring the pressure of games. Investing resources in this streaming community is sure to bring growth to the viewing community in return.

    While this shares similarities with makers and crafting the differences in the experiences of food and drink streams makes a great case for a unique Food and Drink Creator Club.

    In the Iliad, the story of Achilles and Priam comes to mind. Achilles has just finished a meal, and is putting away his dishes, when Priam, the enemy king, comes to his tent to parlay. The first thing Achilles does, as a host, is to prepare a new meal. He sits and eats with Priam. Even in great sorrow and conflict, the sharing of food and drink is a universal experience. It is something that brings people together, and there's no one on the planet with whom this doesn't resonate.

    To quote Stephen Fry: “...we do not lend the hearth quite the importance that our ancestors did, Greek or otherwise. Yet, even for us, the word stands for something more than just a fireplace. We speak of 'hearth and home'. The word 'hearth' shares its ancestry with 'heart', just as the modern Greek for 'hearth' is kardia, which also means 'heart'..."

    The food and drink community on Twitch represents a noble and historic tradition of sharing recipes, stories, and humanity that transcends mere memes, trends or current events.

    There are large charitable groups within the food and drink community as well. You'd be hard pressed to find someone that doesn't spend their time, their efforts, and this platform to support the noblest of causes.

    Cultivating this community would not only be a good strategic decision, given the broad appeal of the content, but would be a net good for society.
