Do not use Persona for face ID verification This is regarding newer affiliate sign-ups being made to face-verify through Persona, and not k-ID.
This is extremely unsafe for a number of reasons, chiefly being Persona can be compelled by the Patriot act to share that information with the US government - they are willfully doing so as a given already, as is OpenAI, to cross-reference the facial identifications with financial transactions.

2 votesWe appreciate your concern here. We use a number of tools to verify a person’s identity when processing payments to them. To be clear, this is different from age verification, and we don’t use Persona for that.
Only a small number of Affiliates go through Persona, representing a small percentage, single digit. Persona is just one of a wider list of tools, and we use it very infrequently. This has been the case for years.

Remove "sensitive social issues" bullet point. Twitch should remove the "sensitive social issues" clause from Article VII of its Content Classification Guidelines. LGBTQ+ people, immigrants, and reproductive rights are NOT "sensitive social issues", they are common sense issues, where one side simply wants their liberties intact. The controversy is entirely on the other side of the argument the involves taking those liberties away.

Intermittent mentions of politics, politicians, or sensitive social issues also do not require the Politics and Sensitive Social Issues label. We apologize for not communicating this well initially.
If you are an LGBTQ+ streamer, for example, you do not need this label when talking about your lived experience as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. We’ve added clarifying language to the Content Classification Guidelines to better express this.

Twitch uses Audible Magic to scan past and future VODs for music owned or controlled by clients of Audible Magic. This includes in-game and ambient music.
Please note that the recognition is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate, so it may return false positives.

mute I play my violin live on Twitch. Every time I play an allegro by J.S. Bach my video gets muted the next day. There's an issue with search showing sexual content I search for "astroneer", a friendly video game, and some of the content that shows up, is scantily dressed females whose only purpose seems to "titilation". There's other sites for this, and this is not remotely related to "Astroneer".
Showing semi-adult, low grade content, such as a female in a bikini, not doing anything interesting seems like sliding down a hill into sleeze.
Makes me think Twitch has gone downhill. I am sure these channels are probably barely on the side of the rules. But that doesn't mean they add value. Or should be shown when I am looking for…

Why can viewers with 0 strikes be terminated by a group of people reporting them or using a spam bot, even though the person did nothing? A friend of mine got banned and got proof that he got reported by a group, appealed and also sent support tickets and all you can do is to tell him, that he should appeal again what you can do 1 time in half a year with the same outcome to be waiting on him? How is this possible and how are some streamers with over 20 bans not perma banned, but viewers with no strikes whatsoever can be completly terminated by a small group spam reporting them or using a spam report bot for it? This is just sad.
