Add more options for recurring scheduling of streams.
Please add biweekly and monthly options for scheduling in addition to the current weekly option.
Many people such as myself work a 2 week rotating schedule or work irregular shifts.
More scheduling options would provide more inclusivity for people that don't work a weekly schedule and would benefit the streaming community a great deal.
Yeah, having to manually schedule a bunch of streams on specific dates becuase there's not a "repeating every other X" toggle is a pain.
Sure I can schedule a couple of them in advance, but havign to do so every time for every bi-weekly stream is not ideal.
Currently, we are able to schedule a weekly stream. However, it would be nice if there was an option to schedule a fortnightly (bi-weekly) stream. For example, every 2nd week is a Monday stream, but every other week is a Tuesday stream.
Adding to the chorus of voices looking for other options on scheduling. My personal use cases are below -
Schedule for every Thursday from 5PM to 9PM PT. However, I want to rotate the games I play, which would potentially change my category. Week One would be Dead by Daylight, Week 2 would be PSP Games, Week Three would be Skyrim, and Week 4 would be an Unknown New (To Me) Game.
Schedule a bi-weekly "Saturday Caturday" where I play cat-themed games. Each game would have the game itself announced in the Title while setting the overall category to Cats. Week 1 would be Catlateral Damage, week 2 would be Stray.
Ad-Hoc Single day scheduling, or movement of a scheduled day in case of Real Life, with a way to announce to followers that a change is happening (or for that matter, the option to turn OFF an announcement of a schedule change if needed)
I do like the idea of a consistent schedule, but my definition of a consistent schedule is not wholly weekly-based. I suppose I COULD run Saturday Caturday every week, but I'd prefer not to, and I would prefer to set my audience's expectations accordingly so it doesn't appear as "Oh, Yume's just flaking out on her schedule". :)
For those who do bi-weekly streams or alternate content between weeks, having a schedule that you can edit per week instead of the standard "weekly schedule" (as if every week is the same) would be very helpful. Currently, we are stuck manually updating the schedule each week to match our content (I don't play *** every week, but the schedule would say otherwise), which also gets confusing for viewers who are looking past the current week.
It would be great to have the option to schedule every other week, b/c that's how my DnD stream has been scheduled.
Add the ability in scheduler to allow for more configurable recurrence of scheduled items. (https://dashboard.twitch.tv/u/username/settings/channel/schedule)
This would allow for easier addition of such items that occur:
every other week
once a month
on a particular date each month / year
similar options can be seen in outlook for calendar entires

So I work a swing shift schedule and and so far the only options to schedule a stream is every monday, every tuesday etc. I feel like having an option for swing shift people would be amazing. One week I will have tuesday off but the next I will work tuesday and then the third tuesday I will have it off. Anything to help me out would be amazing thanks!
This is an awesome idea! the problem i ran into was wanting to hide my alternating schedule.
There needs to be an option where folks don't see cancelled events to make the schedule more readable.
An example might be:
"something comes up the day before so you've got to switch to the B schedule on short notice. you switch events and the cancelled event disappears from schedule and is replaced by new event"
I don't stream every week, but every 2nd week. I need serializing tool like in outlook (Exchange) or other good calendars. Otherwise the built-in calendar is useless for me.
I started to set up my new offline channel page, which has the option to post a schedule. I have a schedule that (usually) alternates every other week.
For example, Week 1 is my Dungeons and Dragons series with friends, and because our schedules do not line up, week 2 is a normal video gaming stream.
It would be nice to have an option to set a 2-week schedule, a week 1 and a week 2.
