Adding to the chorus of voices looking for other options on scheduling. My personal use cases are below -
Schedule for every Thursday from 5PM to 9PM PT. However, I want to rotate the games I play, which would potentially change my category. Week One would be Dead by Daylight, Week 2 would be PSP Games, Week Three would be Skyrim, and Week 4 would be an Unknown New (To Me) Game.
Schedule a bi-weekly "Saturday Caturday" where I play cat-themed games. Each game would have the game itself announced in the Title while setting the overall category to Cats. Week 1 would be Catlateral Damage, week 2 would be Stray.
Ad-Hoc Single day scheduling, or movement of a scheduled day in case of Real Life, with a way to announce to followers that a change is happening (or for that matter, the option to turn OFF an announcement of a schedule change if needed)
I do like the idea of a consistent schedule, but my definition of a consistent schedule is not wholly weekly-based. I suppose I COULD run Saturday Caturday every week, but I'd prefer not to, and I would prefer to set my audience's expectations accordingly so it doesn't appear as "Oh, Yume's just flaking out on her schedule". :)
