Tie schedule to a time zone
The schedule tab is extremely redundant if it's not tied to your timezone. The current extension will show the streamer's schedule in the time zone of the system viewing it. This is SO important as we all know noon CET is most definitely not noon PST. From the looks of things now, we'll just be able to set our schedules to a time, and it will then be up to the viewer to keep track of what timezones we are in. Thus the schedule will not be usable for the viewer.
This should also include the option for the streamer to set the timezone for their streams, as a lot of us stream while on longer trips. With the option of setting the timezone, we can then prepare our viewers for different start times because of time zone changes.
Additionally, the lack of timezones also forces the viewers to have to keep track of when daylight savings happens in other places than their home. I.e. Europe and North America have three weeks between when the times are changed, and I'm sure this goes for other places too.
Giving us the option for a schedule is well and all, but it's no use to our viewers if it doesn't show them when we'll be live in their timezone.

Just to provide some clarity – we actually already handle the timezone translation for both streamer and viewer, so viewers should be able to see exactly when you’re going live in their timezone. We realize it’s tricky because we don’t have any messaging that explains this, so we will be working to get that added.

Hi there, we actually handle timezones on the backend already although it's not clear because we didn't add anything to tell you about how it works!
We store streams in the local to you timezone as you create them in our database and that information gets passed down when a viewer visits the schedule. We do some location and math calculations to handle a bunch of various cases and viewers will see the schedule on their end in their local time.

I can't imagine the thought process that went into designing a schedule function without considering time zones... and hopefully those without access to this beta never have to.

Agreed, viewers 100% need to know the exact time you'll be live in their timezone

I second this as I have viewers from the UK and all over the US, located in different time zones. I'd like the ability to have the time zone in the schedule section. I won't always stream from my local time zone, so this is a particularly important feature to me.
