Toggle Panels On/Off Instead of Remove
I think it would be useful to be able to toggle panels on/off instead of having to remove them and re-add them each time.
For example, I'd like to have a panel with information specific to a game I'm playing, but if I'm playing a different game I'd like to turn it off temporarily and not have to worry about setting it up all over when I go back to the other game.

This has been a request for so long and I don't think it'd be that hard to have an enabled toggle button for it in the layout.
here's a mockup for your UI peeps: https://i.imgur.com/hY1ZiOt.png

You worded it incorrectly. What you're suppose to say is restore old panels.

I understand that we also have 'remove', but sometimes I don't wanna delete it and hide it to keep the data, and use it when I need it back.

The feature could be a simple toggle that allows you to hide a specific panel module, allowing you to use certain panels only when needed (IE if a video has certain music licences, or a creator can set an affiliate link or store link to the relevant game's store. This would be like a person may play apex legends on the playstation, but in between they might play Final fantasy, or The Last Of Us Remastered, whilst they play Apex, they have the panel in view, but when they play the other games they can hide the apex panel and it auto lists at the bottom, when they return to Apex they scroll to the bottom, toggle it back on and then it returns to it's original position.) This would be handy for channels that do variety content, or channels that play multiple games.

A panel option to display it only when a selected category is being broadcasted.
Some games may have have extra detailed information that might be useful to viewers, such as a list of game addons or commands for chat interaction. As an option to a series of chat robot commands, it would be practical to have this information written out in a panel with an option to only display when the affected game is being broadcasted.

I think this NEEDS to be looked at adding. would be so helpful if you have say charity streams or once/few times a year events or info you want to display without the hassle of writing it all out again.

I was going to suggest a similar feature to this just now, then found this. Noticing this was posted back in 2015 and it's still not implemented yet, think it's a good time for Twitch to look into it imo. This would be helpful to hide panels which may not be relevant for a while but will be again soon (Ex. For Charity Streams to show info on where to donate, where the info won't be relevant all the time but you don't want to have to remove the panel completely).

Yes! Came here to suggest this but did a search first and found this suggested way back in 2015. Seriously this needs to be implemented! It's a PITA to have to delete something when you know you'll want to bring it back later. Please consider revisiting this!

I could use such a feature. Especially when you want to hide a panel only temporarily.

Add an option to turn the panels on your Twitch channel on and off, instead of only being able to delete them. This is something that should have been implemented from the start!

for when you just want to hide a panel, but not delete it and end up losing whatever you had typed.
