thanks anyway for your upvotes

and push again 4 upvoote !!!

46 upvootes and the twitch support changes nothing xD wow thanks twitch support for ignoring the extremely annoying 2000 channel follow limit, many of my followed channels are inactive and I have no desire to delete 100s just because twitch tv is too stupid to completely remove this limit like youtube, on youtube I can follow millions of channels, unfortunately twitch.tv is extremely backward there

It's going to surprise some people to even learn that there is a limit to the number of streams you can follow. I don't think this limit is applied to all accounts.

I have been on Twitch a long time and have done a lot to help people set up streams and manage their communities. As such, it's possible that I may follow more streamers than the average person. Even still, I have 1 account and I am a real viewer who subscribes, gifts subs and donates my time.

New features allow some streamers to restrict chat only to followers. So by limiting my ability to follow more people, Twitch is essentially cutting off a growing percentage of streams from me.

Also, Twitch is basically hurting small streamers. Clearly people are going to be less likely to unfollow larger more established streams just because they want to follow a new person. So my ability to support and help new streamers is severely limited by this restriction.

How is it that people have seemingly almost no restrictions on creating fake accounts and bot accounts? And somebody who is legitimately trying to follow more people is restricted in some arbitrary way?

Please allow the ability for me and others like me to follow unlimited streamers on Twitch. Setting a limit on something this basic only hurts honest viewers and smaller streamers.

100% do not agree, 2000 channels for what? Follow for follow is what.

If you are following 2,000 channels on Twitch then chances are that you aren't supporting them. It is not possible to watch that much content! You're likely not watching them, subbing to them, watching their VODs or anything else, just inflating their numbers.

The OP said they were following people who don't even stream, and judging by 2,000 accounts actively following they will never watch these accounts that aren't yet streaming.

I think 2,000 probably shouldn't be the limit, but honestly who even actively watches that many channels?

I want unlimited channels following, I need follow more VTubers

It is very stressful to think about which VTuber channel to unfollow because I don't want to unfollow any VTuber anymore

Let users follow a unlimited amount of accounts on twitch just like on YouTube how on there there no limit to how many people users can follow.

Second give streamers awards for the most amount of followers.

Twitch is meant to be a platform, a community for endless growth meeting new friends, So why shouldn't we allowed to follow as many channels as we wish? Twitch has over 9.89M Active streamers mabye even more yet we're only allowed 2000 follows. Yes we may not be able to see every single channel on twitch at the same time or at all but i say let's spread the love and remove the cap or increase the threshold, Which ever way we go there are still 9.88M Channels who we haven't found yet, have been found but can't do anything about it and a ton of different friends we want to send a follow to support them. Twitch is a community so let it thrive like one.

Why did Twitch impose this limit?

It doesn't sound smart at all.

Follow 2000 Really too little . delete2000 in follow To the end Banned from following I request . can be purchased . follow Quantity. Banned from following
Yes twitch 'S fault

My name is gotscarab60 on twitch and I can’t follow anyone on twitch please help me I want to follow another people on twitch and I don’t know what to do

done.
twitch! do something pls!!

Hello Friends and Upvooter, please upvoote here in the bug forum: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310240-channel-panels-settings-profile-notification/suggestions/42083641-2000-channels-follows-limit-is-too-low-info-yout

the new thread

Hello, I follow a lot of people on Twitch, a lot of people have not started streaming yet, will probably do it soon or will not stream at all.

I find it impossible that the channel follow limit is 2000 follow.

Please increase the number to at least 10000 channel follows, so that I can follow more than 2000 channels & users.

Even on Youtube there is no channel following limit!

Please increase this, I have to delete users from my channel list all the time, which annoys me a lot.

I also find it very dubious for a streaming platform that there is such a limit at all.

At the moment I can't see which channel I'm following because it's no longer displayed in the browser since Twitch redesigned it.

2000 channels to follow are just too few, please fixt this problem.

HELLO Twitch SUPPORT fix this BUGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
