Feedback Hello,
I am a deaf Twitch user. I watch streams, but I cannot understand what people say because there are no subtitles.
Please add automatic subtitles (live captions) so I and other deaf users can follow streams too.
Equal access matters.

Vertical Monitor Support Currently, Twitch's layout is optimized for horizontal screens, which can be less than ideal for users with vertical monitors. I propose adding support for vertical monitor setups, where the video player is positioned at the top of the screen and the chat is displayed below it. This layout would make better use of the vertical space and provide a more seamless viewing experience.
At the moment, we have to rely on browser extensions for such functionality, which is far from optimal.

Equalize/Normalize Audio Volume I am unaware why this isn't a more widely reported issue as one would expect if it is frequent, but the volume of Twitch streams seems rather low, regardless of creator, compared to, let's say, Youtube. Currently I find myself turning my volume to the absolute max to watch Twitch, forcing me to turn down all my other volumes, or get my ears blown off when I go back to gaming or listening to music. I am watching through browser (Firefox) and the in-player volume is set to max as well.

Create a global caption setting In the user settings, create an option to enable captions globally by default so it is always enabled on eligible streams.

Ability for viewer to turn off background music I see a bunch of streamers who have separate audio tracks for the live stream, and the VOD.
Can we get a toggle-button on the twitch player, that can let us switch to the VOD channel's audio stream?
That way we will be able to turn off the streamer's background music.Thank you.

There should be a twitch non-affiliate raid filter, So we can raid non-affiliates easier. It’s a win-win situation, people get affiliated while twitch makes more money. I want to be able to support newer streamers and bring smiles to their faces by raiding them. A filter to show non affiliated without having to load up each stream you see to see if they are a non-affiliate or not would make it so much easier. Even small 5-10 people raids can be the difference in someone making affiliate or not, it’s such a small thing that can mean the world to every party. Please make this a thing if you can. Don't force location Language on users It's been common practice in most websites to assign language according to location, I understand the reason behind this, but what I suggest is a feature or configuration for those that change their language (i.e. Mexico has Spanish but changing to English) to keep it that way

Provide a way to opt out of experimental features Some people don't want to be part of experimental features. Please let us opt out. It should be opt in. Twitch tells us "we want to test this new feature" instead of letting the users opt in and give feedback. If so many users opt in and give positive feedback then perhaps you can roll out the changes to a test user group. Otherwise you are just forcing us to leave feedback on uservoice, which you do not read or acknowledge the vast majority of the time. Change back phone and PC UI. Fire the people who are responsible for new PC browser/ phone app interface and revert the changes back to the previous version(s). You don't need to constantly change the layout of the website/app. Look at YouTube. Nobody likes them constantly changing the look of the website. You would end up wasting less money as a company too.

Searching tags In all my search for a chanels that would interest me there is no options for filtering more then one tag at the time. There is also no way to subtract any.

Low to High Search I was in the Just Chatting section and I can't search from Low to High Viewership. The Recomended filter, begins giving channels based on High to Low after scrolling for a long time. It takes a long time to reach Casters with 50 MINUS viewership. Bad for many reasons. If I have to explain why, I should be doing your job.

Remove the ability to unfollow as a toggle or fix followage I’ve accidentally unfollowed or unfollowed some streamers because my mental *** thought I’d never go back to the channel that I love a lot causing my long followage to be gone when in reality my emotions are just dumb and it has made someone like me go in a depressed state whenever I see it or get reminded of it

Where are my saved categories? I cant find the button to access my categories i have favorited. Where is it now? I need it to follow the games otherwise the website does not make much sense. The generic categories that are spammed on the new site are not helpful

Please stop discriminate against South Koreans. I understand why you stop services out of South Korea.
But if it's been six months, it's time to end discrimination against Koreans.
Twitch does not have legal entities in all 200 countries around the world.
Citizens of countries where Twitch does not have a branch, can watch Twitch in 1080p and they can purchase subscriptions using VISA, MASTERCARD, Paypal, etc.

Do not allow channels to pay to be at the top of your followed list Remove the ability for a channel to be sponsored and show up at the top of my followed channel list. It makes me want to unfollow that channel so I never have to see it again. This actually makes me want to stop using Twitch.

Built-in Text-to-Speech for Chat An amazing feature to add would be built-in text-to-speech (TTS) for chat. This feature would not only help those with disabilities, but it would also help the average streamer focus on their game a lot more instead of having to glance over at OBS to read chat.

make stream delay for everyone not just partners please make stream delay up to 15 minutes for everyone, there are apps now that allow cheaters to see who is streaming join their there chat watch where they are going and then jump them in squads, then watch to see where your teammates are to kill them to. this should not be a partner only feature. this should be for everyone and i ask 10 to 15 minutes for delay so stream snipers are behind a whole game

a minor update on the schedule I would like to have a more advanced option for the repeat in scheduled streams. like you can do on a phone schedule, where you can set a own frekvenzy of events. for example friday every 3rd week you can stream. as it is now you have to remeber to update every week.

Feature moving Camera Overlay of streamer Currently, the streamer’s camera overlay can sometimes obstruct important parts of the gameplay or on-screen content. To address this, I propose the addition of a feature or extension that allows viewers to move the streamer’s camera overlay to different positions on the screen. Ideally, this feature would also support dual-monitor setups, providing even greater flexibility for viewers to customize their viewing experience.
