Some people don't want to be part of experimental features. Please let us opt out. It should be opt in. Twitch tells us "we want to test this new feature" instead of letting the users opt in and give feedback. If so many users opt in and give positive feedback then perhaps you can roll out the changes to a test user group. Otherwise you are just forcing us to leave feedback on uservoice, which you do not read or acknowledge the vast majority of the time. The thread on the horrible new layout is has 3000+ upvotes in three days and 600+ comments, all requesting it be changed back. There's countless social media posts, but no reply from Twitch. Nothing.
