sort/filter dropdown on any Twitch Browse page The sort/filter dropdown on the Browse page (where you can sort by "Recommended" or "High to Low Viewers").
I would like Twitch to reconsider its default setting to : High to Low Viewers
Sorting by "Recommended" vs. "High to Low Viewers" can significantly affect what content gets discovered, and changing the default could have a big impact on the browsing experience.
As well as tremendously help out new streamers.
As this setting by default COMPLETELY removes them from all categories.2 votes -

Allow certain VoIP phone numbers for account security Currently, the Twitch platform advises that I provide a phone number to increase the security of my account, but the platform doesn't support VoIP numbers. The only phone number I have access to is a VoIP number. While not all VoIP services support receiving SMS verification/authorization messages, the one I use does. I understand the concern regarding allowing accounts to use VoIP numbers, including their adoption by bots and bad-actor accounts, but I also believe there are certain instances where their use should be permitted. Essentially, it's a user accessibility issue- some users are not able to afford the cost…

soundalert volume You need to add a setting to decrease sound alert volume or a volume limiter because some people have really loud sound alerts which harms the ears of consumers.

Built-in Automatic Live Captions for All Streams – Accessibility in 2026 There have already been requests for automatic live captions on Twitch dating back to 2022 and 2023. However, deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers still frequently encounter streams without captions because caption availability often depends on the individual streamer setting them up.
In 2026, real-time speech recognition technology has advanced significantly. I believe it is time for Twitch to reconsider built-in automatic live captions as a platform-wide accessibility feature.
Twitch could automatically generate captions from the spoken audio of a livestream and allow each viewer to enable or disable them using the CC button. Streamers should not need to install an extension…

Theater Mode shortcut on MAC OS reads alt+t rather than option+t Fairly simply, macos doesn't have an alt key so the shorcut for theater mode should be option+t or the option symbol plus t rather than alt+t, as it currently is.

Please add a multi-channel audio feature that allows streamers to send independent audio tracks to Twitch, giving viewers the ability to tog Please add a multi-channel audio feature that allows streamers to send independent audio tracks to Twitch, giving viewers the ability to toggle or mute them individually directly within the video player.
Currently, Text-to-Speech (TTS), alerts, and background music are baked into one single audio track. This can be annoying or overwhelming for some viewers, while others rely on TTS for accessibility.
Giving viewers the option to mute specific audio lanes (like a dedicated TTS lane) in the player settings would drastically improve the viewing experience and customization for everyone without forcing streamers to use complex third-party extension workarounds.

the stream running time, found in-between viewer count and share The broadcast running time found under the video player needs to adjust depending on the content.
Normal everyday people streaming on twitch, the timer should count up.
Games showcase and news from the established ips the timer should countdown, because we know the duration of the video.
For esports and others like, the timer should be invisible.

Make other people's watch streak visible when you click their name in chat Since watch streaks are now fully integrated into the plattform for everybody with channel points enabled, it would be nice to have the ability to see other's watch streak without having to wait for them to redeem it every 5 streams, kinda how you can see how many badges someone has when you click their name. It would only show the streak that person has on the stream you clikced their name. If the streamer hasn't enabled channel points, it could show a funny message or just don't show up at all.

new method to organize the sidebar Hi,
I have a small suggestion for improving the use of the sidebar that shows which streamers you follow are currently live. It would be great if the order could also be changed from few viewers to many viewers. Also it would be very nice to have a list for my favorite channels.2 votes -
PT-PT language Seriously, I have been using Twitch since their foundation and I can't understand why you can't put a filter so I can search people from my country Portugal. Yes both languages are Portuguese but we are not the same and we don't speak the same way so we should have different filters. That's almost as saying that Russians and Ucranians are the same because they speak the same language.

Sound volume/mute control over 3 different streamer input/user output This might be hard to implement but I've never seen such thing in any other platform, and if twitch implements this technology I think its a big leap for all streaming platform.
Issue: There are three different sounds when it comes to streaming.
1- streamer voice (speech)
2- game sound
3- the music he plays if he decides to do so.Imagine being on a stream where you enjoy what the streamer has to say, and you also want to keep hearing him because he's funny, and you also like the gaming sound, but in the same time he has…

Show me which channel you banned When you log into Twitch, you might find that some channels are no longer available, unless you have a time machine. Just one thing: I want to know which channel you banned. We don't just subscribe; we want to know who you've banned again. Instead of sifting through subscriptions to see who's missing...
