Make "Stream Closed Captioner" extension a main Twitch feature
Make closed captioning (CC) a universal feature. Closed captions are a necessary feature in the current year. It not only helps deaf people but also helps people understanding foreign languages or reading something they missed while watching.

Help the Discover new or updated Twitch Extensions
Streamers hardly know where to find the extension store. This means the work of many third-party developers goes unnoticed. Updates or newly released extensions aren't announced or made visible ANYWHERE on Twitch.
Third-Party tools can make a huge difference, please help developers by making it easier for them to be discovered.

Please let overlay expert allowed to be seen on mobile, I worked so hard and spent a lot of time in my overlay.
I would really love to show people who watch me on mobile to see the overlays I made, I would stream so much more often, I worked so ******* that overlay just for people who watch me on their phone (which is nearly all of my viewers) to not see it. I don’t have the money for a pc so I can’t put an overlay on that way, so I’d love it if this feature was added to Overlay Expert on mobile. Pleassseeeee

Stream viewer Screen Shots!
You should add the ability for viewers to take and share Screen Shots. That would add so much engagement and content and be helpful too. Make it so the Streamer or mods can pick what to show in chat and on screen.

Banned Users Should Not Have Access to My Extensions
I seem to have a persistent issue with users who are banned from my chat still being able to use my extensions to troll/harass me, resulting in the deactivation of the extension until the user moves on. Please have extensions check for banned users and disallow them to use the extension on my channel if they are banned. This is a particularly large issue especially with the Sound Alert Extension. Imagine being spammed with a "RIP" alert every thirty seconds just because you banned a 12 year old from your streams. Not Fun.

Add the "Extensions" feature to Twitch Studio
Add the "Extensions" feature to Twitch Studio! Rather irritating that it's not available on the official studio software.

Overlay extension interfere with player keyboard shortcuts
Enabling overlay extension ("Ctrl+ Stream Kit" tested in particular but probably any) currently makes it impossible to pause/unpause livestream in web player with spacebar hotkey until "Pause" icon is clicked with a mouse at lease once since page load.

Bits via "Cheer" should function for Extensions
Probably 95% of Bits are provided through Twitch Chat by typing e.g. Cheer100.
This way of using Bits is explained and well-known for Twitch viewers. Not allowing Twitch Developers to use the same functionality is a direct limitation and provides an inconsistent user experience.
For example, let's say we have a game called "Racer". Join the race with bits and race against other viewers. Viewers type racer100 in Twitch chat and join the race.
Every developer gets a certain code (racer) similar to the extension name, and the amount determines the action. The action list is communicated with !racer, more…

Allow mod comments
Add it so I can make a comment to the twitch streamer without having to DM them on discord or whisper, please.
/comment Care for [user] being toxic in chat with [ ] .
Just would make things easier IMO and helps a lot if the streamer gets issues with running discord or any other issues.

Create various extensions to display alerts or give more support to transmissions that are made directly from consoles, such as PS4 or Xbox.
There is a very large community that makes content for Twitch directly from your PS4 or Xbox console, and we do not have all the advantages that streamers have from PC, developing "exclusive" extensions for streams from console can help this community too much.

Pronoun extension
I think a pronoun extension would be great a lot of streamers are using the chrome one but if it were a twitch extension you could view on all
Browsers and hopefully on the mobile app.7 votes -
More Panel Extensions
I am curious why Twitch streamers are limited to 3 panel extensions. I hope there is a good reason, cause I feel like 5 sounds like a better number. There's a lot of super awesome extensions out that I can want to utilize, but the limited # prevents that. Any reason why it's limited to 3, and could it be expanded?

Allow Developers to Delete or Archive Old Extension Versions
When an Extension goes through constant improvement cycles the Extension versions start to pile up on the developer dashboard. There doesn't appear to be a particular order in which the versions are displayed so it becomes a tedious task to find the latest one just by looking through the small semver text on the thumbnail.

Allow teammates auth to one's Overlay Expert builder.
Make it possible to add editor credentials to another Twitch user to edit one's overlays and select the one in-use. Make it possible to add editor credentials to another Twitch user/account to edit one's overlays and select the one in-use. It would avoid security issues from sharing passwords in order to create/edit/select overlays.

Trading Cards
A system similar to what Steam has: Trading Cards that can be unlocked by engaging with the streamer. (Requires the streamer to have such feature enabled; The streamer can design and upload their cards and set conditions such as drop rate, how to get them, say by following, subscribing, donating etc.)
Each user would have their own trading card menu in their personal dashboard, to check which have been unlocked, from which streamers, etc.
Viewers can also trade cards with others if they have doubles, etc.
Collecting all cards from a streamer could also unlock a badge or whatever the…54 votes -
Purple screen of death
The new purple screen of death that's been happening to a lot of people obviously doesn't work as intended and should be removed until it does. I miss a lot of streams because it pops up randomly. I never use adblock on twitch. I use BTTV and FFZ. That shouldn't be flagged as 3rd party tools that affect the stream performance negatively.

Allow more extensions to purchase products to allow better Merch sales
The current small number of merch-selling extensions are not very good or reliable, but developers aren't allowed to build any extensions to compete with them.
