When a lot of people can't afford that price and I can afford 9 dollars and 99 cent.our 11 dollars every month to pay for ad free, but that's about it, like, 15 dollars is too steep, something got to be done

3. Stream Display Ads should not appear for Twitch Turbo members using ad-blocking extensions

   I'm subscribed to Twitch Turbo, but not subscribed to a channel, and a Stream Display Ad just appeared on my screen on that channel. Probably because I use Alternative Twitch Player extension in Firefox with extensive ad-blocking via ControlD, uBlock and other extensions. I can understand wanting to display ads, but if you subscribe to an ad-free experience, it sucks to see a Stream Display Ad. Just FYI. Keep up the good work! :)

4. Add fine-grained controls, stats, and monitoring for played ads

   Allow streamers to control which ads play to their viewers.

   Best would be to allow pre-selecting ad-categories (similar to what advertisers use on e.g. AdSense to target their audience) to filter specific ads from the channel.
   AND also add an archive of played ads (in the best case together with ads of how many of the audience members have seen it (by now); how many viewers left while it played; how many reported it; and such) and allow to verify it if viewers complained in chat about an inappropriate ads to either manually blacklist it for the channel to never be played out again to the viewers; an option to never play anything from that specific advertiser again; as well as an option to report it to twitch for further investigation if it was not just "channel inappropriate" but violated TOS or local law.

   Notified that advertisement will be played soon & option to choose to play it instantly or will automatically play the ad after specific amount of time 1-5 minutes

   COUNTERMEASURE for trying to bypass ads is for ads that play joining stream or refreshing the stream will be chained/multiple ads so that audiences are more inclined to sit through the 1 ad or less ads than joining.
   REASON the reason for wanting this feature would mostly be for when there are moments in the stream which are impactful and entertaining and the moments for when you need to watch what's going on suddenly you miss out on because of a badly timed ad.

   ALSO would be nice if the ad was able to be opened in another tab if possible but highly unlikely to come true.

8. Tone down the greedy/scummy practices

   How about not being so scummy about ads... if I want to not watch a channel the ads will pause... imagine if cable used to do this. I barely use twitch as much as I used to solely because of this.

12. Ads should display link pointer

    When hovering over an ad on a stream, clicking the ad will take you to the advertiser's website. However, the mouse pointer displays as normal, and does not show the "link" pointer (a hand with a finger extended) as it ought to. This behavior would comply with W3C guidelines.

    Just make the ad take up the top left quarter of the stream screen but play it muted, all should matter is that we can see it, if we wanna hear it we can click it.

    All forcing us to watch and listen to an ad does is make us not care about what you're advertising, period. It's like protesters blocking a road, you really think im gonna care when you're doing something like this? I will not.

    Just make it so we get mostly the stream still with a small portion of the screen goign to the ad and then make sure it doesnt force mute the stream. This will be a win win situation. I legit quit watching twitch cause of this ad stuff getting out of control.

14. Stream Display Ads could honestly be bigger

    The most disruptive thing about adverts is loss of the audio. The video feed shrinking is much less of an issue. Consider e.g. a Stream Display Ad that shrinks the video to 25% or even less of the screen. Advertisers would know where the stream was going to be on the screen (or even get to choose) and could incorporate that into the advert (fancy border / give the streamer a thought bubble or similar)

    Additionally these could be (silent) video rather than just static pictures

15. Running and ad upon entering a stream for 30 seconds is to be expected. Not running ads for 3 minutes every 5 to 10 minutes is gross

    Stop allowing ads to run every 5 to 10 minutes that last 3 minutes (1 of 8 or 9 ). I feel very annoyed along with others in the community about this. It will kill a streamers view counts

16. Ad placement

    I love twitch. But when it comes down to listening to the action and having a conversation with the streamer and it is interrupted by an ad. It becomes abusive on Twitch's part. Perhaps if an ad was displayed at the bottom of the streamer's view portal (the player). that was stationary as the page was loaded in. It becomes a .jpeg. It is NOT a blockable item. I am tired of this "ad abuse" being 3 or 4 30-second ads in a row. Whats the point of even coming here to watch a stream at this point? I'd like to think that being a former server operator i know the cost of what a 14-blade server costs to run per month, and the bandwith hog that they are. but this seriously renders the service unusable.

    For years now I've noticed many complaining about the user experience on Twitch concerning advertisements. I myself have also felt burdened by the frequent and interrupting ads on Twitch, which have pushed me away from the platform, so I painstakingly compiled a list of data and ideas to help improve the twitch experience.
