Placement of Vertical Ad Bar Is there a way for users to specify the placement of the new vertical ad format somewhere else besides between the chat and the broadcast window? Is there a way for streamers to move it to the left of the page (like under the follower bar)? Or is it locked to the right-hand side of the frame? With the entire page in dark mode the brighter adverts are little distracting and makes it difficult to read chat when streaming on smaller laptop screens or mobile.

I saw an ad for what I am pretty sure is an illegal MMO Boosting site. I've already sent a report to Blizzard themselves but I don't believe you should be airing advertisements for this.

Adblocker detection is broken However you have implemented the "Adblock detection" it is broken. I keep getting the warning:
"Running ad block? Consider Turbo.Twitch Turbo enables ad-free viewing while still supporting streamers."
I do not have adblock active on twitch, I see ads on most channels but a handful of channels I get this warning on. Please remove generic adblockers such as Ublock Origin that DOES NOT BLOCK TWITCH ADS from your banned list

Can you please chill a bit I get 30 seconds mandatory ad after refreshing stream which froze and after refreshing another 30 second ad. I get that you are you doing your best to capitalize the most outta this platform but could you please chill just a bit with the frequency, I'm already doing my best to boycott every product you are trying to force down our throats.

Stop Side Ads from kicking me out of full screen view Whenever the ads that play along with a stream come up it kicks me out of fullscreen display mode. The ads are annoying enough but having to click the full screen button every 4 minutes because the Jurassic World ad played for the 400th time is really darn annoying.

I just quit every time I see an ad interrupting the whole stream. It's a live stream platform and your ******* ads are blocking content that may never be seen again. Youtube a pre recorded video platform gives the option to skip ad after 5 sec, where you dont even miss *. Twitch is about interactions happening live, you may ask something to streamer, react to something happening live or just enjoy silently some action. But ads that cut off the stream make it cancer to watch. Make more pop ups left and right…

What about using the overlayed mini banner advertisement on the screen? (Burned in ads) I'm understanding that we need ads to continue this platform, but what about making the smaller size of stream display ads? Like the Overlayed artificial ads on sports broadcasting? Optional ads as subs As a sub, I like to support my streamer, or atleast have the option to, so I would like it to be optional, on the user side, to toggle whether I want to see ads or not.

Stream Display Ads vs. Mid-Rolls Allow creators to choose between mid-roll ads and stream display ads, where either option disables pre-rolls.
Some users (myself included) would much prefer to use exclusively stream display ads, and would even be willing to run them for longer than they would mid-rolls, while other users find them more disruptive. That's fine, to each their own, but please allow us the option. It would do wonders for so many streams to be able to totally disable pre-rolls without having viewers miss out on 3 minutes/hour of content, and I'm confident it would result in more total advertising time as streamers…

Stream Display Ads are pushing me away from Twitch There is no idea accompanying this. This is absolutely a complaint. Advert "breaks" that can last anything between 15 seconds and THREE AND A HALF MINUTES when a streamer is clearly not in a position to allow for it, does not incentivise me to give the platform my money. It's pushing me away to other platforms that do allow me to skip ads relatively quickly.

Stop with the excessive video adverts! Start using banners and tickers instead of video ads. They are less intrusive, and more importlantly less annoying.
On a side note, it's amazingly short sited and stupid to play 3 min ad breaks during VGA awards that already have a bunch of ads and trailers. Start a partnership, and stop ruining the experience for your viewers! (the real money makers)2 votes -

The ads are overwhelming, i can deal with one minute ads every hour but three minutes every every 30 minutes is ******* insane. Unwatchable 1 minute every ******* hour, or every thirty minutes at least. Holy *, its overwhelming, how am i supposed to enjoy a stream when i feel like im missing 3 minutes of important content every **** 30 minutes. Its insane, its ******* insane. Unable to reduce volume of the stream due to banner ad when the screen gets smaller because of the add appearing in the bottom, the volume slider actually stays in the same place and cant be used anymore, because it can only be use while the mouse is on/over the stream.
