Stream Display Ads are pushing me away from Twitch
There is no idea accompanying this. This is absolutely a complaint. Advert "breaks" that can last anything between 15 seconds and THREE AND A HALF MINUTES when a streamer is clearly not in a position to allow for it, does not incentivise me to give the platform my money. It's pushing me away to other platforms that do allow me to skip ads relatively quickly.
Yes, I'm aware of posts by Twitch that were "experimenting" with less intrusive ads... From 2021. Five. Years. Ago. Care to share the results of the "experiment" that led the company to continue with the disruptive approach to a streamer and viewer's livelihood and user experience? Or are you going to disregard this feedback as merely a disgruntled user who contributes nothing who's getting a frustration off their chest?
