Disable ads when entering a new stream.
Nobody wants to see an Ad right as they enter a new stream. If they click on a stream from the main page or from a raid, nobody wants to watch it immediately. Me personally I exit as fast as I can and go watch someone else instead of ads. Viewers would be more inclined to stay around if watching ads wasn’t the first thing they got.

I just tried to tune in a stream, the pre-roll ads too so long that the stream ended before I could start watching. Ridiculous.

When exploring new creators, It is very annoying to get an ad right at the start of the stream before evening know if you want to continue watching the stream. All it causes is people closing the app or just going to watch someone they know which results in no new discoveries. Allow people to watch the stream for at least some time before an ad is shown. Between twitch and YouTube. Ads are the highest reason for no one exploring new content.

Ads playing immediately upon trying a new channel is a bit frustrating. I usually just turn off Twitch and go to YouTube or somewhere else because of how Twitch does ads immediately upon attempting to watch a channel. Just letting you know that it's pretty invasive and I, personally, actively never purchase anything from an advertisement that annoys me... and your ads annoy me constantly because of their placement.

The fact that I have to sit through a 30-second to a 2-minute ad break before even seeing what the streamer is doing destroys browsability for your website generally at best, and will systematically hurt and snuff out small streams at worst. An ad-free 30-second buffer when entering a stream would allow the user to find what content they would enjoy before having their experience invaded. This idea also benefits the website's bottom line by helping retention of unsubbed viewers by offering them content rather than spam upon arrival to the site which improves retention and optics.
In short, ads give the website a predatory overtone. Why would you let that be the first thing someone encounters if your goal is the retention of the viewer to produce ad revenue?

I can't even watch the channels I want because when I try to I get a bunch of ads I have to watch first. Even if I click on a new person to check out first have to watch an ad every time. This makes me close twitch and not want to watch anyone. Please get rid of ads
