I'm seeing ads on streams that I am subscribed to.
I'm running Brave, and can't turn off ad-blocking unless I turn it off in the browser and them manage it with an additional extension. Your help article tells me that I should disable it to stop ads on streams I am subscribed to.
This is a sub-optimal solution, at best, for a browser that is a fork of Chrome. Consider supporting Brave such that users don't have to see ads for streams they are already subscribed to, without having to wrestle with their browser.

Hey there,
When it comes to something like this please make sure that your browser and extensions are up to date.
If they are up to date and you are still having issues please reach out to our team at help.twitch.tv so they can further assist you with troubleshooting.

Actually avoid playing ads for people who have subbed and who is encouraged ALL THE TIME to SUBSCRIBE to AVOID GETTING ADS - but there's still ads?! I'm so frustrated with your system, jfc.
WHY DO I SUBSCRIBE IF I GET ADS ANYWAYS? It's literally being said in the channel by the broadcaster - sub and you avoid ads. SUB AND YOU AVOID ADS. BUT THERE'S ADS. I'm so fed up dude. -

I am still getting ads when watching the Streamer I am subscribed to. and it's not just once or twice but I get 5 ads one after another every hour. And it gets so annoying especially since I am paying to not see them.

Still happening. Happened on several streams this week alone. Streams in which I know the streamer does not have ads enabled for subs. I dare say many users would not seem to be so anti-ad if A) they hadn't been given ad free viewing as a Prime user in the past, B) ads weren't too long, too frequent and repetitive, and C) if someone actually listened to viewer voices instead of dismissing them as simply "people don't want to watch ads" complaints when many of them are NOT.
ETA - still happening, and now more frequntly. And I DO NOT run ad blockers and use a supported, fully updated browser. Stop making excuses and actually fix the site.

I am also receiving ads on a channel that I am absolutely certain does not have ads enabled for subs, using the Twitch viewer, no VPN and no ad blocker. I see these complaints go back almost two years at this point, and this is not the only bug report on the subject. Nice to see Twitch is as responsive on PC as they are about mobile app issues (cue laughter as I walk into the distance.)

I've been getting ad's in all my subbed channels. I've tried swapping between chrome and firefox and continued to get ad's
What is the point of subscribing if I'm still getting ads

I am a streamer and recently lots of my subscriber are getting ads, eventho subscribers shouldn't be getting any ads. Plus I have enabled the Stream Display ad but instead of the stream being big + audio, the stream is getting minimized and muted, the ad instead has the audio and the big screen.
Please do fix this, as more and more people, subscribers and streamers are getting frustrated.
If anyone else has the same probs, were you able to fix it? If yes, how?

This is happening to me on all my subbed channels. I'm even seeing ads during streams I am broadcasting using Stream Manager and Mod view. I too am using Chrome and I don't use a VPN. I typically have to refresh several times before the ads go away.

I'm subbed but I still get ads. I pay to watch streams without ads and still get some? What sense does this make?

literally title. EVERY stream I open I am forced to watch a "commercial break in progress" while I am subbed and have turbo active subscription. Let alone you have no support available. Let's add more highlighted messages and pay streamers less, but don't have your only feature worth a **** consistently not work. I am going to stop gifting subs because they mean nothing when you keep giving people ads when they pay to not have them.

I was looking for bug reports and can't find them so I'll write this here.
Yesterday I wanted to watch Sajam on my Android phone. I got hit by a set of 2 ads. I am subbed as a tier 1 and have been for 30 months. I pay for a half-year sub every 6 month.
I assume this was a mistake, some bug that will be fixed quickly. I do not pay that amount of money to be served ads. Hopefully this gets fixed quickly. Good luck!

This is still an issue? I'm getting Ads on a channel that I'm subbed to and that I mod for. What is that about? It's 2022, Twitch. Sort it out, man..
