Stop Mid-Roll Ads Testing. Here's an Alternative. Interrupting streamers' streams with an ad randomly without any semblance of their own control is going to ruin a LOT of clippable moments in streams, as well as push viewers away from many smaller streamers, which could seriously damage their livelihoods.
Instead of this forceful approach to increasing the amount of ads, you can reward streamers who frequently and consistently play ads with more emote slots that will only stay if said streamer keeps their ad playing frequent and consistent.

I'm seeing ads on streams that I am subscribed to. I'm running Brave, and can't turn off ad-blocking unless I turn it off in the browser and them manage it with an additional extension. Your help article tells me that I should disable it to stop ads on streams I am subscribed to.
This is a sub-optimal solution, at best, for a browser that is a fork of Chrome. Consider supporting Brave such that users don't have to see ads for streams they are already subscribed to, without having to wrestle with their browser.

Too many Ads Before I would get 2 ads max once in a while during a live stream. Now I have to watch 7, 30 second videos before I can continue watching the stream? I miss out on a lot with 7 ads playing especially when it’s important and I want to know what’s going on. Can’t do that when I have to sit there and for what? Just because I can’t pay for no ads? That’s absolutely crazy and unfair. Cant coax me to sub to people for no ads, not everybody can.

Mute/Un-mute Streaming content is muted and minimized in the corner.
After the advertisements are done playing, the stream is STILL muted.
This is frustrating because I have to interrupt what I was doing to un-mute THE THING I WAS ALREADY INVESTED IN WATCHING.
Simple solution: auto-un-mute the stream.
14 votesThe intended experience for ads is to automatically resume normal playback (including audio). If you are having issues with streams staying muted after an advertisement plays, please submit a ticket to our support team for us to investigate.

Show if a streamer is payed for the content Would be awesome if streamer that are payed for playing games need to make this clear.

Stop forcing Ads on us! I'm absolutely horrified that you have suggested we should be playing a 90 second ad every 30 minutes to avoid pre-roll ads. That completely ruins the immersive experience we're trying to provide for our viewers! And if we choose not to, we get pre-rolls that, let's be honest only hound away viewers from our streams.
Please stop. This is horribly disappointing to me. So far the Ads I have seen on twitch have only served to act as a list of things to avoid like the plague.

ads ads are not an enjoyable experience no matter how you try to present them. Don't be like everyone else and force them on people. Find another way. Do something different.

Fix your platform Your mobile app will be frozen on a single image, take multiple minute to load, play 3 seconds of the stream, then play a full volume ad, then go back to buffer for minutes, and repeat. Please fix this, YouTube streaming is better than this.
Also, getting a Picture in Picture ad followed by fullscreen ads made me literally turn off twitch. Because it was so irritating, it completely ruined the experience of watching the streamer.4 votesHello!

Ads that bypass Adblock, this just shows how moneyhungry this company really is. You guys really need to invest time into developing ads that bypass Adblock? Good investment of time, definitly a display of how massive the greed in your company is.

Leaving Twitch due to interrupting Critical Role Cast You need to understand that people don't watch twitch to watch ads. you interrupted my show 3 times to tell me I had an ad blocker on. No kidding. I put it there. But, good news. I noticed that YouTube now carries the Live stream of critical role. So, I don't need twitch anymore. Oh also D&D Beyond also allows other sign in methods, So bye. Don't interrupt any other shows, you may lose additional watchers.

You're shooting yourself in the foot with your approach to ads I know y'all prefer to listen to your good old friend Benjamin Franklin over the actual community themselves, as is the case with all corporations anyways, but these mid-roll ads that can't be skipped and occur way too often are a complete disaster that only serve to damage the site itself, and any financial benefits that can be gained from it for the company and Bezos himself will start to slowly dwindle while more and more people abandon the site entirely.
They hurt the ability of smaller streamers to use the site as a source of income, as potential viewers…

Political Ads Not sure why your company has decided to involve political ads into recreational video game content, but you’ve just lost a viewer. Plenty of other methods to watch a favorite streamer without having some over-privileged company preach politics. RIP Twitch, RIP.
