This issue started for me about 4 days ago.

I am getting ads on channels I am subbed to and I pay for Turbo as well. It only seems to happen on my device that uses Android OS. Super infuriating tho because at this point I’m paying over $15 to be ad free on this channel

I have been getting ads on one of the streamers I sub to, for around a year, but only when I'm on my PC. It doesn't affect me on my phone at all, nor on the others I sub to on PC or phone. I actually cancelled my Turbo because it didn't do anything to stop them. I'm just upset it affects the streamer I watch the most. He has confirmed he doesn't have ads on for subscribers and, even if he did, it wouldn't have effected me when I had turbo, and I'd get them while on my phone. Can we please get this fixed? This problem has been going on for too long!

This is happening to me constantly today. Multiple channels I am subscribed to are showing ads as soon as I join the stream, and repeating it if I refresh the page or switch streams.

I am subscribed to the channel I'm watching
I have no ad blockers active on the Twitch.tv domain

I just got 8 ads in a row, refreshed, and got more ads.

You people are so goofy. If you are using an Adblocker while subscribed or using twitch turbo, you have to disable it.

If you are using brave or a similar themed browser that attempts to block ads, you have to turn off protection for twitch.

Same. Twitch turbo and subbed and get ad's. I just went back to using a VPN for Albania and cancelled Twitch Turbo. GG Twitch.

Glad to see this problem hasn't been addressed for 2 years. A good way to incentivise paying customers to stop paying is by not providing them the service they are looking for. Vods don't have ads, but live content that we pay to watch does, and you don't have to be subbed to watch ads.

getting the same issue i've even checked with the people i'm subbed to and they are just as confused, i should not be getting add reels sometimes as long as 5mins on their channels if i'm subbed to them. THIS IS REDICULESS TWITCH FIX IT NOW!

I'm pretty sure I left a comment here before months ago, but I'm having the same issue again. I have a tier 2 sub to a streamer, the kind where you pay for six whole months in advance and somehow am STILL getting ads. He doesn't even have pre-rolls on, but for reason it's the kind I'm getting. All in all, it's really annoying and I'm not paying a sub just to get the **** ads. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE ONCE AND FOR ALL.

I'm getting ads as well without having 3rd party software installed. I have Twitch Turbo and I am subbed to the channel I got the ad on. This was during a stream with 31 viewers and not like some big event or something where in-roll ads are rampant. This was a legitimate Twitch Ad. This ad said "[streamer] is taking an ad break to support this stream." This is considered theft in the United States, while a bit extreme, this feels a bit like that.
