Ads during VODs restarts the entire VOD instead of resuming playback
Currently ads played during VODs seems to break the playback position, and instead resets the VOD to the start instead of continuing where the advertisements interrupted.
This is a common issue on mobile, and has been for a while.
Fixing this would go a long way to help making ads less antagonizing, as this is furthering the stigma that ads are making Twitch worse to view.

Infuriating bug, How is this till a thing? They added the turbo add on top of the regular adds just fine.. but fixing a core function of the VOD player is not possible.

Crazy how this was a post from 2 years ago. There are posts from 4 years ago about this topic and yet this problem still exists.

I agree and it seems that there isn’t a viable solution to this. Frustrating. I don’t watch vods often any more because of this.
