30 seconds of pre-roll ads is too long for live content
Pre-roll ads don’t belong on live content to begin with, but they should never be as long as typical commercials/ads. Imagine clicking on a stream that you’re excited about watching in that very moment (because you saw something interesting in the thumbnail or someone tweeted about something happening on that stream) and then after the website loaded and the video player loaded, waiting another 30+ seconds for the live stream to load. That’s the current experience with pre-roll ads. It breaks the in the moment or “you had to be there” experience of live content.
A 5 second pre-roll ad is a more tolerable amount of time to wait for a live stream to load.

Clicking on a stream while browsing only to run into yet another 30 second ad is just ridiculous. The amount of ads I am watching as a casual Twitch viewer is far more than actual content. At this point, if a 30 second ad pops up, I just close the website.
Please consider limiting ads to only 15 seconds. I'm sure if you viewed analytics there are quite a few people only watching a few minutes of a stream here and there. 30 second just feel like Twitch expects to me to never value my time.

You ruined your app with the disgusting amount of ads you require just to find a stream

I understand money need be made by the site, but nobody, literally, NOBODY, wants to see a 30 seconds ad when first entering a channel, ask announcers to make shorter ads and more target too, a lot of ads are small historys nobody cares or pay attention, its just annoying and makes people less willing to try whats been announced.

30-second ads are ridiculous. Not even YouTube has 30-second ads. It takes way too long to sit through an ad just to see what's going on in a stream. The max should be 15 seconds, no more.
