Please don't block the video stream with Ads
In the middle of watching someone's exciting steam, an ad pops up covering the entire video while chat continues. Chat is then going crazy because something awesome just happened, yet we were unable to see it because an ad was covering the video stream. What a disappointment.
Make the ad go into a corner with sound or something, but please do not block the whole image. That's the reason why we are here, to watch the steamers. You want the ads for monetary gain, fine, but find a happy medium where you don't disappoint your customers. Badly placed ads drive more people away than keeps them.
Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads! These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown. You can find out more information here: https://twitter.com/TwitchSupport/status/1603148201489580032

Intrusive ads disrupting live streams can be frustrating for viewers. A better approach would be non-intrusive corner ads that allow uninterrupted viewing while still generating revenue. If https://txrhlive.me integrates such a solution, it could enhance user experience while maintaining a sustainable ad model.

I completely understand the frustration with intrusive ads disrupting the viewing experience. Platforms like Twitch need to find a balance between generating revenue and ensuring a seamless, enjoyable experience for users. To improve the ad experience, we could focus on making ads more relevant, non-intrusive, and offer users the ability to customize their ad preferences. For accurate TikTok earnings calculations, visit https://tikmoneycalc.com/ TikMoneyCalc!

I love how this was added but over time it was an excuse to bombard twitch users with ads. Last night when i tried to go mobile; I could not even say night to the streamer and hear him because i had 3 sets of ads play back to back. The experience on the pc is not much better. Banner after banner ad pops up and the transitions are wonky. Its very distracting and it makes no sense how many ads are popping up. I don't have ad blocker on for twitch because you can get swamped with like 20 ads after they pile up. I have also had viewers tell me that they heard nothing I said for like 5 minutes even though i have played ads.

This scenario highlights the importance of user-centered design and effective communication in learning environments. Just as poorly placed ads disrupt a viewing experience, poor design or distractions in educational tools can hinder focus and engagement. To enhance https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mt1qfjek9C_cvs2_FLMwDtqrZue_ZDFxttRHyKI_z88/edit?usp=sharing, it's crucial to create an environment where content is accessible, clear, and uninterrupted. Just like balancing ads with the content in a stream, learning platforms should find a balance between providing useful information and ensuring that students can focus on the material without unnecessary distractions.

The white banner ads are very bright on a dark mode appearance. I do not like how the banners make the stream shrink from top to bottom. Is it possible to make the stream slowly side over for the banner ad without shrinking the stream video?

To improve the ad experience, consider placing ads in a corner of the screen instead of blocking the entire view, allowing viewers to enjoy content without interruption. Additionally, personalizing ads based on viewer preferences can make them more relevant and engaging. Insights on optimizing ad experiences can be found at https://spotifyspremiumapk.com/. Implementing fewer, longer ad breaks may also create a more seamless viewing experience.

Poorly placed ads can negatively impact user experience, leading to frustration and decreased engagement. For platforms relying on ads for revenue, like streaming services, it's important to strike a balance. Instead of full-screen ads, consider using smaller, non-intrusive ads placed in a corner with sound to maintain viewer engagement without blocking the content. This ensures users can enjoy the stream while still supporting thehttps://smartsquarehmh.net/ model through advertising. A well-designed ad placement strategy can boost both revenue and customer satisfaction, reducing the risk of losing viewers and improving overall business performance.

Disgusting Adds Policy
Your adds policy is literally disgusting. That’s the reason I refuse to pay extra for useless “Turbo” over my Prime subscription. Thanks.
What’s next? Planning to delete the platform all over my device and eventually from my life.
Any future updates or plan to enhance this mediocre policy?

@Dday2 they do this because annoying people until they sub is their business strategy, they're more than happy to prioritize profits over user experience

Blocking content is not efficient when ads can run in a dedicated area just below the screen silently. More people would see them & not be annoyed. You'd notice but can ignore if you want. If every other site on web can do this, so can Twitch. But that takes effort.

This will kill twitch. Hey anybody at twitch actually read these? It might improve your website. HELLO??? ANYBODY AT TWITCH ACTUALLY TAKE SUGGESTIONS? THE AD FREQUENCY IS GOING TO KILL YOUR WEBSITE. WHY DO I HAVE TO MISS OVER 200 SECONDS OF A STREAM TO WATCH ADS FOR THINGS I DO NOT CARE ABOUT?

Unbelievable. I've never seen any content medium (traditional or digital) block live content with such intrusive ads.
As a user, in-stream unskippable ads that make me miss live content inevitably build very negative impressions on both Twitch and the brands for me.
As a digital marketer, I definitely wouldn't choose such an ad form to ruin my or my client's brand.

Extremamente inassistivel.

You probably wont read this or even care, but I want you to know that I truly hate using your site. On a stream I was moding for, there were ads at 5 minute intervals for an hour. Your system is broken, I cannot do my job as a moderator and no one cares. I cant submit a support ticket because the system redirects you so many times it becomes a battle of wills (there is no support section for ads either).
I want you to know that you've won. I do not want to be here, and will avoid your completely broken system. I can barely watch let alone do a job as a moderator. Im done. -

Well Twitch is very tough, and stubborn as a bull. with the butt against the crib. More and more viewers are leaving for Kick.com and other platforms. they hate ads, just like we streamers. that 50% revenue can stick twitch where the sun never shines. They force viewers to pay, and so for small countries like we live in, this is the nail in our coffin. Those stupid Americans don't understand that.
