There is no good reason not to let editors access emote library & would help streamers out/save time.

5. Let Moderators use emotes. This would mean that bots such as Streamlabs and Moobot won’t have to be gifted subs to use emotes.

Good idea. But Twitch does allow you to request that you make bots Lifetime T3 Subs for free for this purpose. Just need to submit a ticket and ask.

That's hard to track / decide. If a streamer had a JustinTV account & started streaming on Twitch Day 1 in 2011, they could import it from JTV and it would be be dated 2007, same year JustinTV started (even if they never streamed on JustinTV). While someone who created a new account day 1 on Twitch would be dated 2014. Even though both started day 1 on Twitch.

We would like to offer an “off-duty mode” for Mods, but it isn’t one of our top priorities at the moment. Will revisit in 2021.

    Twitch responded

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!   These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown. You can find out more information here: https://twitter.com/TwitchSupport/status/1603148201489580032

Blocking content is not efficient when ads can run in a dedicated area just below the screen silently. More people would see them & not be annoyed. You'd notice but can ignore if you want. If every other site on web can do this, so can Twitch. But that takes effort.
