Let Moderators use emotes. This would mean that bots such as Streamlabs and Moobot won’t have to be gifted subs to use emotes.

Fantastic idea 👏

To not have this to be "abused" and disincentive people from subbing, have it so mods can only use the emotes on that channel only, and not being able to use the emotes on other channels like actual subs can do.

Bots could be a great tool to showcase what your bits and sub emotes are to chat without having to interrupt the content to promo them yourself

Agree on this wholeheartedly

Agree. Allow verified bots with moderator flag be granted channel emotes.

In addition to the ideas about making them bound to the channel itself, I have always liked the idea of having 1-3 emotes exclusive for the moderators/broadcaster. Imagined having ones like a banhammer, no links chat bubble, etc available for just the mod team

this would work great with an adjustment that it works like follower emotes, you can only use the emotes in the chat you are mod and not outside of it unless you are subbed

To reduce revenue loss, Twitch could let mods use emotes on the channel only. Like follower emotes.

This would be a great update! I can see Twitch losing some revenue from Affiliates, but the AI writing assistants like Nightbot on Twitch would make it worth it.

That's nice, but they won't do it. Just imagine how much money they'd lose.

I'd like to add something for locally hosted bots. They are usually established such as Streamlabs Chatbot (meaning, not the cloud version but the one previously known as Ankhbot). They could add a "bot access"-key/token to set up a single account as bot.

this just makes sense, its a plus to being a mod so they can still use the emotes for the channel that they moderate

I think this would be extremely useful! Maybe not to all moderators because I could see Twitch losing a lot of revenue to that for Affiliates, but at least to moderation bots like Nightbot.

There's already a "workaround" on this if you're a Twitch partner, you get "permanent subscriptions" to give out to bots, etc. But I definitely think there should be an option for smaller streamers as well.
