You might not remember a unique rule or vibe to a channel you haven't been to in a while. For example, most streamers can turn small banter into content as long as it's reasonable, but a few might not do that and could take it as negativity. A note for that particular streamer might be pretty helpful in avoiding awkward situations. Especially if you don't go in their stream for like a year and return or something.

9. Stop using my IP address to force foreign languages on me

   Every time I click a legal document, it is in German. My OS, browser, and Twitch account are all in ENGLISH!!! It is clear that:

   1. You are using my IP address to force unwanted languages on me.
   2. You do not understand that Germany has no official language.

   My account is in English. You do not have to translate your material into English especially for me. You already have it in English. Do NOT re-route me to a German site!!!

   Use the language of my account when showing me anything. This is not new or difficult. Before this junk with the IP addresses that is how it was determined what language to display. You read the language of the browser, or in this case, you just use the language of the Twitch account.

   Amazon is HORRID about FORCING content on me in German, even when everything, including Amazon Prime Video, for example, is set to English.

   Just once, please stop forcing German on me! I have gotten to HATE the language!!! In my free-time, I want ENGLISH. Please.

12. Interactions and Views effect by reviewing one's own content.

    This could possibly go under the Bug catigory.

    I’m unsure if it functions this way, but when something is posted, does the user that posted affect the view, or interaction of it, when they click on it. I.E. if I load my feed, does it add to an interaction? If I click on a post I created to check replies, etc., does it add to this? If a video starts playing, does it increase the number of views when I’m the one who posted it? It seems strange to allow the original creator the ability to affect any of these types of statistical tracking, simply by trying to review and check the statistics and interactions themselves. If this is not how it functions, then I do apologize for my lack of knowledge regarding this inquiry, but from my experience, it does seem like the interactions with things I create, on this platform, actually give a false representation of events, as my interactions inflate the baseline to some degree.

    This could possibly go under the Bug catigory.

13. When amending TOS and other user agreements, use known clerical strategies to inform users about the changes being made.

    I was looking through the recently updated TOS and was dismayed at the lack of clarity regarding what changed. This is a problem with industry standards, not just Twitch.

    It is not user friendly to send existing users to the current amended policy while also providing a link to the prior policy, expecting users to review both contracts side-by-side to discern changes.

    It would be immensely beneficial to user awareness for Twitch to use known clerical strategies which highlight amendments in a separate transitional 'bill' document that offers a view between the previous document and the current document. This 'bill' document may also be used internally for discussing whether changes should go forward.
    Clerical strategies may include, but are not limited to:
    - Strike through text to indicate language being removed.
    - Underline text to indicate language being added.
    - Highlight colors to draw attention to areas being modified.
    - Use the phrase New Section or New Article in front of entirely new sections and articles being added to the document, rather than highlighting or underlining the entire section or article.
    - Number both articles and sections for easy reference.
    (example: Article 2 "Use of Twitch by Minors and Blocked Persons" section 2 "The Twitch Services are available to persons between the age of 13 and their local age of majority whereas;" subsection A "the minor has constant adult supervision." subsection B "the minor has not been previously removed or prohibited from using the Twitch services.")

14. Stop Banning 3d Modelers that are being targeted

    Rainhet just got banned. She was 3d model texture painting and weight painting a character. Nothing was graphic. No genitals. This is hypocritical as other streams are allow to stream Rust with full genitals showing.

    Changing my phone number is extremely difficult. I didn't realize that the twitch team was this incompetent. Stop asking for verification using phone numbers. I need to change mine but you sent me here. So here I am. Change this stupid setting.

    Please stop asking me every single time I log in about my Opt-out Preferences. Why can't you just store this information. I've filled this out more than 20 times at this point. The stupid bar at the top every single time I log in is so annoying.

    Hello, I would like to ask whether your company's automated moderation system or human moderators have made any improvements in understanding the structure and meaning of the Mandarin Chinese language over time.

    During my years of using Twitch, I have witnessed a significant number of Mandarin Chinese users receiving permanent bans, possibly due to misunderstandings or misinterpretations of Chinese vocabulary or phrases by your moderation system or staff. Even after submitting appeals, the process seems ineffective, leaving users with no choice but to wait helplessly for six months before another opportunity arises.

    For example, when a streamer is playing a game...
    …facing a monster in the game, an excited viewer types "砍死他" (which means "slash/kill it" in the game context).
    This is just one example—there are many more similar cases

    However, due to a lack of understanding of the subtle differences in the Mandarin Chinese language, your moderation system or staff might misinterpret this statement as violent or harmful speech directed at humans, streamers, or chat users, rather than recognizing it as a normal expression of excitement in the game. This could lead to an unjustified permanent ban.

    I would like to know whether your company has taken steps to improve the accuracy of automated moderation for Chinese users to prevent such misunderstandings.

    And as a user from Taiwan, I am aware that there is only one Twitch employee left who can communicate with regular users like us. However, with just one person, I believe their authority is limited and may not be sufficient to assist with the various difficulties that Taiwanese users encounter.

    Of course, I am not merely trying to express how unfortunate it is for Chinese-speaking users. It seems that the text moderation system has issues with misunderstandings or misinterpretations across multiple languages.

    just watching many friends on the internet disappear one by one, permanently banned without a clear reason, and gradually feeling a sense of disappointment toward Twitch.

    The appeal system feels like a mere scarecrow—it's just there to let you know it exists, but it has no real effect.
