Better account verification steps when you forget your password I forgot the password to my account and didn't receive a single password reset email. I tried to verify my account through customer support but they said they couldn't verify it. Being as I don't have any of the information they request linked to my account other than my email it's a bit redundant. If there was a way of verifying via linked account such as a PlayStation Network account, or via a Discord account, it could make the whole process much easier.

switching back to an old email address I need to switch back to an old email address and the system will not let me. Convert to Amazon's phone verification system/Stop excluding landline's/Add "send a call with a code" option Your parent company Amazon offers phone verification with "send a call with a code" option that accepts landline phone # for verification.
Please if phone verification is mandatory now you cannot, I repeat with extra stressors, CANNOT EXCLUDE ANYONE.
This should have happened simultaneously with the change-over to mandatory phone verification.

Allow underscores in passwords The password system in twitch has me put beyond disbelief. I have truly never experienced a more horrific security protocol; it is almost comparable to the password game, which was created as a joke. I would like to suggest some changes.
- scrap the existing system, unfixable.
- make a three character minimum; this is all that is necessary for actual security increase. People who take their privacy seriously will act accordingly.
- Allow special characters. It is genuinely baffling that as a company you made the conscious decision to decrease the amount of usable characters in a password.

Fix 2FA bug where Twitch says my number is already used I have tried for quite a stretch of time to get my mobile phone number accepted by Twitch, yet still no luck, due to Twitch saying I already used my mobile number to verify an account before. That is a straight-up lie, considering I did not get my phone until 1 years ago at Christmas, and I haven't even attempted verifying with my phone number at all, until recently! Allow disputing phone number useage I have had my phone number for over a year now and I am unable to use to due to the fact that whoever had it before has it registered to THEIR account. When I contact support after having explained that the account the number is currently connected to isn't mine and I don't know the person, they tell me to VERIFY THAT THE ACCOUNT WITH THE NUMBER IS MINE.
Please. Upgrade your support and make it easier for people to claim THEIR PHONE NUMBERS.

Stop requiring phone verification to change alerts There has been a bug where twitch wont send out a phone verification number and so when someone wants to set up alerts and such, without phone verification, they can't. I've personally been trying for DAYS to get them to send me verification and nothing has come through while other apps have no issue.

Delete data from specific third-party sites one by one Can we get a tool to remove our data from specific third-party websites one at a time? Right now, if I don't want some random tracker, stats site, or fan site scraping my info, it’s really hard to protect our privacy. We should have the right to choose who sees our data and who doesn't. We need a setting in "Security and Privacy" to remove data by typing in the name of the site to request data removal, forcing them to stop showing that user's data on the requested site. One Person One Account Hello Twitchers
My idea is simple to use disabling bot before there can post anything.
With the help of current technology, it has become possible in recent months to create bots, fake accounts, and similar non-human accounts and attack streamers.
My idea to limit this is very simple.
All Twitch accounts must verify their person with a valid ID.
Acceptable IDs:
- National ID card
- Passport
- Credit Card
One Person One Account

More Detailed Data Reports Twitch data reports are great but they do feel unnecessarily limiting. It would be great it we could get more information from data reports aside from what is currently available.
Some examples include:
- Whispers history
- Channel Analytics
- Channels you are VIP/mod
- Channel Activity (stream title changes/etc.)
- Twitch team information
- Mod comments you've made
- Channel points you've earned

Feature Suggestion – App Lock (PIN/Fingerprint) Hi Twitch Team,
I’d like to suggest a new security feature for the Twitch mobile/desktop app: the ability to require a PIN code or fingerprint/Face ID unlock before opening the app.
This would:
Improve privacy and security for streamers and viewers.
Prevent unauthorized access if the device is shared or lost.
Enhance overall user confidence in using the Twitch app safely.
I believe this feature would be especially helpful for users who stream or manage multiple accounts from a single device.
