No more mandatory phone number verification. This has been posted before and will likely fall on deaf ears again because there's money involved. But here I go trying anyway.
Stop requiring users to hand over their phone numbers just to chat. I know bot problems are a convenient excuse to force this on people, but I still don't agree with it.
I'm a paying customer. Have been for years now. Why do I still need to prove my authenticity by giving Twitch my phone number? Oh I know. Because data-brokers pay well.

Make followed channels private I found out, that there are third-party-websites, where I can enter any Twitch-username (not just broadcasters), and it shows me all channels, that this Twitch-user follows. Everybody can use such a website. You do not have to be a developer or a broadcaster or a moderator. That means, that this information is public. I was not aware of this. I did not consent to this. I thought/assumed, that this information in private.
This information should be private by default (not public by default) (especially if you are a viewer and not a broadcaster), and there should definately be an option…

Ban Policy should be reviewed Please review the current view on blocking user accounts. In the last few weeks I received two 14-day long bans simply because people joked around "what's gonna happen" and reported me. Appeals rejected both times. Sad thing is, I know about approx. 10 people experiencing the same thing. Something is obviously very off on Twitch these days...

twitch support discord my idea is that support should either have a discord server so users can get evidence to why accounts are banned or support should actually send in the tickets the evidence. streamers like me getting banned for "violent hate speech" but no evidence to support the cases and ive tried appealing twice but both times rejected with no clear reason

Customer service for special cases? Not entirely sure what category this falls under, but, I'll describe the issue I am currently facing.

My new-ish phone number is tied to an account with a bogus username and email that doesn't belong to me. I'm stuck in a position where I can't disassociate the phone number with the fraudulent account.

Indefitie Suspension I AM NOT A BOT I submitted an appeal for my account (crowdog69b69t) because I was wrongfully accused of being a bot and or a automated account. Allow underscores in passwords The password system in twitch has me put beyond disbelief. I have truly never experienced a more horrific security protocol; it is almost comparable to the password game, which was created as a joke. I would like to suggest some changes.
- scrap the existing system, unfixable.
- make a three character minimum; this is all that is necessary for actual security increase. People who take their privacy seriously will act accordingly.
- Allow special characters. It is genuinely baffling that as a company you made the conscious decision to decrease the amount of usable characters in a password.

Add Parental Controls and Supervized Accounts for accounts under 18 Hello! I welcome the new Twitch guidelines and support people doing their own content, as long as it's labelled properly.
Having said that, where I can see Twitch improve upon in terms of safety is something that Sony did a long time ago for PSN accounts: If you're under 18, your Twitch account has to be a mandatory supervised account by another Twitch account that's over 18. Allow Affiliate Onboarding to Accept Paypal instead of giving out your SSN Allowing users to complete the Affiliate Application by using their Paypal or another method that doesn't include sharing their SSN would be a major step privacy wise.
If someone's SSN gets stolen, it can ruin them financially for years to come or even for life. This is why we are told never to share that number. Having a work around where we can file the taxes ourselves without having to give out our SSN to Twitch or Amazon would be beneficial to all involved and would help reduce the chances of people getting their SSN stolen.

privacy tier settings privacy tiers popup or (PTP) could be a feature for the less experienced that gives the user tiers on what they want collected or used by the data they provided to twitch. this will be a popup (like what the name implies) that appears for a user once or twice before dissapearing unless they sign in again (not to be confused with reopening the browser)
