Upgrade Apple TV app The Apple TV app had a downgrade. It no longer shows the chat history for VOD. Please return this functionality.

Pause Pause. Currently the TV App is unresponsive to pause inputs. The site has pause, the mobile app has pause, and it's a very weird choice to leave it out of the TV app.

Allow bluetooth keyboard use in TV apps without going through mobile Have the option to use a bluetooth keyboard on the Twitch Fire TV app (and other apps) instead of the "Join the conversation" button below the chat that brings up a mobile QR code.

(Hisense) TV app: Multi-Profile Option request Please add the ability to have multiple profiles logged into the Twitch app like other streaming platforms have (Netflix, Prime, YouTube, etc). That way households that have multiple profiles can easily switch between Twitch profiles without all the annoying logging in and out.

LG WebOS app: no sound on HEVC stream One of my followed streamer started encoding their own stream using h.265 (hevc), in the twitch webos app the video freezes, but if I change the quality from auto to anything else then the video starts eith no sound.
I’ve contacted the support but received the same template answer again and again…The tv is an oled cx series tv, the twitch website from the browser plays the hevc stream without any issue (other than loading being ultra slow), my tv also can play h.265 media.

Improve / Fix The Apple TV app (the new version that rolled out a while ago) was a downgrade in every sense.
After all this time nothing has gotten better.
Why can’t I see all the channels I follow in Home > Live Followed Channels? Yet see them all in Following > Live Followed Channels.
Why do I see channels I follow in the Home > Live Channels We Think You’ll Like.
Why is Live Chat still borked?
How is this helping?
Is the goal to drive away people?
Do you think this’ll make people by a Fire TV stick? (No).

Live followed channels does not appear on left side panel. In the past it has been super nice and convenient to switch which of my followers I am watching as they go live, switch games, etc.
Since stories have been pushed more, the list of streamers I follow has completely disappeared. Replaced by an "Open Stories" option alone. This is on a firefox browser. I don't care about the inferior algorithmically generated "Recommended channel" option either. The recommendations are always awful there.4 votes -
Twitch app not respecting picture settings on Sony Bravia Android TV I'd really like to use Twitch's Android TV app on my Sony Bravia TV (VH21) but there seems to be a problem with the picture quality. None of the picture settings affect the app, for example, nothing happens when I toggle between the local dimming settings. On a LCD TV, this particular setting is perhaps the most important for good picture quality. Older versions of the app were not affected by this bug. As a consequence the picture in Twitch ends up looking rather mediocre. Every other app works fine.
Please fix ASAP.

tvOS 17.6 Twitch App Problems Updated my AppleTV yesterday and I am still experiencing audio lags and studdering on wifi and ethernet. One of the streamers I watch I can only watch them with the chat on the side open not in full screen mode. If I close the chat then full screen mode is in slow mode.

Allow Raid on LG TV When I’m watching a streamer on my LG TV and they raid someone it doesn’t automatically work the way it does on my iPad. Not sure if there is a way to do it manually but it would be nice if it worked as seamlessly as on my iPad.

Make Chat available for VODs Please make chat available on VODs for Twitch TV app. Chat is perhaps the most important feature of Twitch and not having it available makes no sense whatsoever. For reference, the chat is already available when Ewing this content on a mobile device or a computer. I would put this in the feature request area, but it really is a feature that should be standard and is standard in all other iterations of Twitch, so I must assume it is a bug.

Remove the scanning of the QR code just to type in chat What the most recent update that the fire stick app had gone for twitch us fire stick users are no fire stick users are no longer able to use our remotes to type in chat and now we have to scan a QR code when we could easily use our remotes to type in chat which is not cool

AppleTV app barely functions. Video goes black. Buggy seek bar. Apple TV app is so busted
Ever since they updated the Apple TV app a few months back, it is completely broken. Most streams turn black constantly and you can’t see anything. It happens every 30 seconds. The only way to fix it is to reload the stream, play/pause, or wait another 30 seconds and hope it resolves.
On top of this, the seek bar is buggy as heck and sometimes doesn’t even disappear. Pressing the menu button doesn’t hide the seek bar either. It closes the stream.
There is no longer any chat on VODs and you can’t chat…

Bug: Not showing live followed channels on homepage [LG webOS app] I only follow 1 twitch channel (HasanAbi) and when the channel is live, there’s nothing on the homepage about it. Instead it shows “Live Channels We Think You May Like”.
This is poor UX and requires extra clicks to get to the main content people want.
I don’t open twitch app to discover new content. I primarily open it to tune into a subscribed stream.

Support deep links in tvOS Deep links are supported in iOS using the format
twitch://stream/<channel name>ortwitch://open?stream=<channel name>. This does not work under tvOS. It would be great if deep linking was supported in tvOS.4 votes -

Chat text size is now too big. It's enormous It looks like the Twitch app was recently updated on Fire TV, and the text size is now enormous. I can only see three comments at a time most of the time, sometimes a single comment doesn't fit on screen. It's really hard to follow conversations. I thought the text size was about perfect before this update. I have a fire TV stick capable of 4k but don't have a 4k tv. Not sure if that's part of what's going on.

Twitch App TV for webOS 5 Ok, my Smart TV is a colombian local branded TV but it has webOS 5.4. Basically it is a LG SmartTV because of the model but the branding is 100% from Colombia. My TV is a Challenger with model UHD50LWSMARTBT.

Apple TV voice controls Apple TV has voice controls where you can say to Siri to play/pause or rewind/ fast forward “x” amount of time, if I say these controls to Siri whilst watching twitch VODs Siri just says there’s nothing playing I would be great if this was a feature!
