1. Casting a collection should auto advance to next video

   When you are casting a video in a collection to chromecast, at the end of the video it will not auto advance to the next video in the collection. You have to stop casting, wait for the next video to start, and then re-cast the video.

4. Link to a user's profile while in a different channel's chat

   "Guys, you should follow Emma , seriously! She is an amazing music streamer."

   When streamer Dan said this, I wanted to be able to do these things in this order:

   1) figure out who this "Emma" was that he was talking about (a mod's !so shoutout helped here)

   2) easily get to Emma's channel to follow her

   3) come right back and continue watching Dan

   4) be able to check out Emma in more depth later (this is already easy, once I'm following Emma)

   Now, the feature request(s).

   SCENARIO A: (less work to implement, but also less intuitive and less beneficial to the viewer than SCENARIO B below.)

   On the Twitch for Fire TV app, I can navigate to a list of current viewers (while still watching the channel). This is good. When I scrolled to find Emma's name, I was able to click on it, which was great - I was so close to my goal!

   But when the menu options appeared, there were only two:

   • Report
   • Block

   What I wanted:

   • Report
   • Block
   • View Profile

   The "View Profile" option would take me to Emma's profile, temporarily leaving Dan's channel.

   I would then look at Emma's content, select whether to click the "Follow" button, click it (or not click it), then hit "Back" to return to Dan's channel, where I was immediately previous to coming to Emma's profile.

   Expected Steps:

   1. Navigate to Dan's channel.
   2. Make sure the chat is visible.
   3. Press left four times to navigate to the Viewers list button (it says the # of current viewers and has a two-person icon on it).
   4. Click that viewers list button. The list of current viewers appears.
   5. Scroll to or search for Emma's username and click on it. A menu appears that contains a "View Profile" option (in the same list with the "Report" and "Block" options).
   6. Click "View Profile". Emma's profile should appear.
   7. Click Follow. A visual cue tells me I'm now following her (I believe the button changes to "Unfollow" - this is not new functionality.)
   8. Click Back. I should be taken back to Dan's stream.

   Step 8's navigation flow is similar to when a streamer raids another - a message appears asking if I, the viewer, want to visit the raided streamer's channel, which I click, and can then immediately click "Back" to return to the original streamer's channel. This "Back" navigation journey should be preserved in a similar way with this idea.

   There are improvements you could make to this process, but I feel like it would take the least development to do it this way (SCENARIO A).

   SCENARIO B: (maybe more work to develop, but more intuitive and more beneficial to the user/viewer)

   A more streamlined way to get to Emma's profile when viewing Dan's chat feed: press "up-arrow" one or more times (or press & hold it to scroll faster) on the fire tv remote to start navigating back/up through the chat feed (navigating backwards in time). Each time I click up, the next most recent @username is highlighted. When it gets to Emma's username (e.g. @EmmaJonesTheSinger is highlighted), I click on it, and the "View Profile" option appears. Similar to step 6 above, I click on "View Profile", and steps 7-8 play out similarly to SCENARIO A ("Follow", then "Back" to return to Dan's channel).

   One clarification: as I ascend the chat list (going back in time), the usernames of the authors of the messages are the ones that are highlighted (and scroll into view), AS WELL AS the names that are @mentioned in the message text bodies. So if @Bob says "@Sally is cool", then @John says "Cool, I'll check her profile out" in that order in chat, then as I am navigating back through the chat, John's name would be highlighted, then Sally's name within Bob's message would be highlighted, then Bob's name would be highlighted - essentially, in the reverse order that they appeared in chat when originally submitted.

   Hitting the "Back" button while a name is highlighted will return you to the present (i.e. most recent chat message) in real time, and re-highlight the "Chat about this channel..." button.

   I like SCENARIO B's scrolling-back-through-chat method better, in fact, because I get to reread the chat messages even if I don't click on any names. Chat messages often pass by so incredibly quickly that no human mind can process them all in real time. :D

   So, SCENARIO B has more benefit and solves more problems.

   The only reason I would choose SCENARIO A over B is if it is significantly less work to implement, making it easier on your developers. Most of the structure already exists for SCENARIO A.

5. Audio lag

   There is to much audio lag compared to the video, it's not even fun to watch when the voice is so far ahead of the video

6. Family Mode on TV

   I leave my account logged in on the family smart TV. I'd like to block channels not marked family-friendly behind a PIN if possible. Even better, I'd like to consider certain games as not family friendly. We often see shooters marked family friendly.

7. "Jump to" - in the AndroidTV-App

   Currently, in the AndroidTV Twitch-App, you can only move through a VOD by 10 second-steps, which can be really annoying, for example, if you try to skip the first 2 hours of a VOD.
   I would greatly appreciate an option to put in a time to jump to inside a VOD, so you don't have to click forward a few hundred times anymore.

8. Screen Chat Refresh

   When I'm moderating a channel the new delete option in the mod tools marks it up as deleted in the Android app but it doesn't delete it from the active chat when viewed from other devices it remains on the TV App screen as not deleted same as when I ban a user from the chat it sometimes says "this user has been banned" in the chat and other times it doesn't but still the banned message remains on screen.

9. Add an option to merge VODS from the twitch website.

   some streamers have bad internet, One stream of mine has a 2 minute stream and a 5 hour stream. These are messy and sometimes confusing for the streamer and viewers. It would be great to have an option to merge the 2 together to have one clean VOD.

10. The Samsung/Tizen app is the worst app I've experienced

    The app is so broken, I don't even know how it's possible. Going to 1440p freezes the video. Can't see chat on VOD. The player doesn't bring you back to where you stopped watching a VOD. Picking a quality brings you back to auto or a worse quality most of the time on its own for whatever reason.

    Every single update makes it worse.

    twitch used to have a roku app… now it’s just gone. what happened to it?

    y’all on basically every platform—phones, consoles, smart TVs—but somehow not on roku, and that’s one of the most used streaming devices. that don’t make sense.

    right now if someone got roku, they stuck screen mirroring or using some random third-party app that barely works or just breaks. that’s a bad experience and it just makes people not even wanna watch.

    there’s a lot of people using roku as they main setup, so not having a real app means you missing out on viewers and watch time for no reason.

    bringing back an official roku app would fix all that—make it easier to watch, keep people on longer, and just make twitch feel complete across platforms.

    this something y’all should’ve been done already.

    Some Twitch streamers broadcast in 2K. Please add 2K resolution to the Twitch TV app as most people have a 4K TV. Currently you can only do 1080P as the highest resolution.

    LG TV APP
    Recently updated to WebOS25 on my LG OLED C3 and I can't watch Twitch streams anymore, no matter the quality or the stream, from 160p to 1080p60, it FREEZES CONSTANTLY, like every 2 seconds it freezes for 1 second, it's unwatchable, please fix the bug, thank you.

    when you log in to your account from the tv QR code that you scan on mobile, have it send you into the app directly instead of being sent to browser, where one might not be logged in because they have the app on their phone instead. That way, the user does not have to log on into "two new" locations every time.

15. Audio delay on Google TV OS

    Please fix the audio delay on Google TV OS. I have a TCL 65C61B and the audio delay in the app, at around 150ms, seriously degrades the viewer experience, especially when watching esports. I cancelled my Turbo subscription because of this. The issue does not appear in the YouTube app.

17. Lg app is a nightmare to use

    The LG WebOS app is a total disaster. I have a C1, maybe it's only on this model, I don't know, but the app is SO slow, sometime don't even responding when I click on my remote. There is a huge latency (comparing to other app and Web) please if someone still working on this app fix as mich as possible. It's a noghtmare to browse there...

18. webOS Twitch app crashes after 5-30s

    After starting watching 5-30s most of the streams the app restarts. This happened only in some streams a few months ago and now it happens almost every stream. No error message is displayed. I have tried full restart of the tv, setting lower quality for stream, dns server to 8.8.8.8 and reinstalling the app. Nothing has worked so far. Some people are suggesting this is a new codec issue but its just a guess.

19. BRING BACK THE OLD TWITCH APP APPLICATION

    Hello Twitch,

    You all should really bring back how the Twitch app application was before it was updated to how it is now currently.

    The older app was better than what it currently is now, now it isn’t good at all.

    You literally cannot type in chat, it doesn’t add to your accounts watch time, it honestly doesn’t even recognize you’re watching even if you’re logged in to your account as a whole (meaning you’re never in viewer list).

    Before the app updated to the **** it is now, you could type, it added to your watch time, and it also recognized your account as watching (meaning you used to be in viewer list).

    This is a ongoing problem on multiple (TV+Console) devices, all of this badness is on the XBOX console, Google Chromecast, Amazon Firestick, and etc.

    The people has never asked for such a terrible update to take place, no one wants to use another device to “Join the conversation” when we’re already watching on one!

    Please fix it back to how it was before Twitch, that’s all that’s asked of.

    No one likes the new app, it’s only used because we’re all forced to use it honestly.
