1. Rollback to V9 on Chromecast

   Please rollback version 11 to version 9 on Chromecast / appletv.

   It's the same for firetv, this version is broken als well since V10, that's why I replaced my firetv with a Chromecast. Now here the same buggy and broken version got released as well. Since you guys don't care at all for your users I think I will just uninstall it or use a third party player.

   How can you guys not have ANY QA at all with such a large user base? I don't get it...

2. Twitch TV App for PS5 -Latest Version Update (November 2022) Review

   The Twitch TV App for Playstation 5 updated to the latest version (November 2022). I like the inclusion of the about me section, it provides a helpful description of what a channels' content is. The homepage now includes a selection of viewable categories -with ready to browse through channels being showcased. A welcome feature. But there may be one too many viewable categories (to browse through downwards) on the homepage. Fewer sections/ viewable categories could aid the homepage in appearing less clunky. Or an option that allows users to personally customize which categories appear on their homepage -would be wonderful. I appreciate that the followed channel list now details the last time a streamer went live -such info is useful when cleaning/ clearing the list of channels one follows. The addition of an uptime display -detailing how long a current stream has been running/ live is appreciated.

   Things that worked well before the November 2022 update -and now don't.

   When browsing through channels in a category. A current live video preview of the channel was accessible -without actually entering the channel -simply placing the browsing cursor on a channel activated the live preview. Since the update no channel previews are seen -only non-updating frozen screen captures/ thumbnails of the channel appear.

   A channels' screen captured image/ thumbnail/ screenshot no-longer updates. Therefore many a time, a user will notice an interesting channel thumbnail/ screenshot -click to enter the channel -only for the channel to be far removed from the scene of that in the thumbnail. The screen captured thumbnail/ image never updates, no matter the number of minutes passed -a user will have to close the entire App and then reopen it, in order to get an updated thumbnail/ image.

   When browsing a section:- be it, from ones followed channel list or any other category. Previously, it was possible to scroll/ browse through the live followed channels list -enter/ open a channel of interest -then back-away and leave the channel. Such an action would return the selection cursor/ scroller to the position of last/ recently entered channel (in the following channel list). However, after the Twitch Tv update for PS5 the selection cursor/ scroller is always returned to the very top/ beginning of the followed channel list. Hence the user has to once again browse through from the very top/ beginning. An unnecessary and painful chore. Imagine attempting to review a number of channels, from a category with many live channels to browse through -and then having to repeat these actions several times.

   Finally, in my opinion the most unnecessary inclusion in the TV App update for PS5 is that of requiring a scan of a QR Code, in order to access the chat section of a channel. After a successful login into Twitch App TV, the last thing a user expects nor needs is the requirement for extra external inputs outside the Twitch TV app -to simply chat. This was not the case in the previous version of the TV app for PS5, which made using the app expedient and efficient. What benefits does a user derive, from the extra step of a QR Code? How necessary is it? To what extent?

4. Revert (Un)Follow button update webOS (2022-09-05?)

   The recent update (2022-09-05?) to the LG webOS app moved the (Un)Follow button from the bar to a separate, in-stream, button.
   This also made it so that you no longer (on reflex) can press Right button x4 + Enter to activate chat, (which you want to see, ref: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310225-twitch-applications-tv-apps/suggestions/41734411-on-the-lg-webos-app-make-it-so-the-twitch-chat-do)

   because the movement of the indicator STOPS (bug/badUI!) at the Unfollow button, which instead causes you to accidentally unfollow your favorite streamer and lose your YEARS LONG followage!

   PLEASE revert the UI change and put the (Un)Follow button back to the bar where it was placed perfectly fine before.

5. Stream windows are "shaking" on tvOS app?

   When watching a stream on Apple 4k tvOS, the stream's window appears to "Shake" horizontally really badly. The chat window on the right is perfectly fine, so it doesn't seem like its a tv issue.

   It seems to be worse on some streams more than others. But I do not see the shaking on any other platforms.

   Some streams shake so badly that I just cannot watch it.

6. Twitch on WebOS lags after ad is run.

   Pretty severe bug, when I watch a live stream and a streamer runs an ad, after the ad is done the stream lags horribly. I counted 1 frame per 4 seconds until the stream freezes and I have to restart the stream.
   Please fix this fast!

7. LG Oled APP

   I have LG Oled TV. Everytime I use Twitch app, I have to hide chat before getting full screen of the stream. I suppose most of the users who watch streams from TV don't want to interact with chat since writing is not very convenient. I suggest you remove chat from default view from televisions or give users a chance to choose the default view.

8. Chromecast w/ Google TV app sleeping during stream

   I have been using the Twitch app on the Chromecast with Google TV, and notice multiple times that the Chromecast will go to sleep while watching a stream after around 10 mins. Very frustrating.

   Twitch app version: 6.0.0
   Android TV OS version: 10

   Please let me know if this should be posted or communicated elsewhere.

9. Chromecast VODs freeze at 1080p

   When streaming VODs at 1080p (perhaps more, my TV is 1080p) after about 1-2 minutes, the stream will stop and load indefinitely. This happens on my Chromecast Ultra and Chromecast v2/v1.

10. gamestreams app on LG tv (webOS) stopped working

    Dear twitch,

    “gamestreams” is a great app for LG smart tvs (webOS) that allows one to watch twitch streams directly on the tv without the need of using some other casting devices. Unfortunately after the API V3+5 change/shutdown the app suddenly stopped working. I’m sure there are lots of people watching twitch on LG tvs and we’d like to able to do so in the future. After reaching out to the developer of the gamestreams app i got the following answer from Reemet Paabo:

    “Yes Twitch.tv is closing down the V3 and V5 API endpoints that we are using and therefor we will have to rewrite the whole Application.
    Now, I had started to rewrite the whole application and it was going well, until I hit a brick wall with the Twitch Embed player that I have to use.
    It has that Maturity check on it, " Content is rated mature” and you have to press “Start watching” button to continue, unfortunatly there is no way to bypass that and its only clickable, which LG does not allow. You have to be able to use the button with OK key aswell. I’ve tried all kinds of solutions but always end up with cross-origin-policy error ( since the player is “cloning” another website, you can not execute code within it ). For now I’ve given up because there’s no way around cross-origin-policy and sadly twitch developers will not help us eather."

    As far as i can tell the developer is willing to adopt to your new API, but is also limited by LG and webOS features. It would be awesome if you could support Reemet in any way or extend your new API so that keyboard events can be used and help to keep the gamestreams app - with that twitch - on LG tv alive.

11. Nvidia shield TV app Followed Games section always disappears

    The "Followed Games" section row, keeps disappeared when I try to navigate to that row in the Nvidia shield TV Twitch app, and then it is only "Live channels" and "Followed channels" left on that screen.

    This is annoying me to no end. Please fix?

12. Fix high bitrate 1080p60 Chromecast Streaming, because it constantly stutters.

    And yet it doesn't stutter on my phone itself, or my PC, or my PS4. Please address this issue.

13. Samsung Smart TV web browser

    When I open the web browser app on my Samsung tv and go to twitch.com, I can't watch any stream because the video is black. I can see the chat live, I can see the number on viewers, but the video isn't starting. I press the play button and it keeps spinning but it doesn't starts. It's like this for 2 months. 2 months ago it worked perfectly
