Revert the Mobile Update The fact that this UI update for twitch mobile made it through shows how insanely out of touch any of you are with your product. Mobile mod view I think having mod view to make it easier for moderators to moderate twitch channels on mobile is easier either as part of the twitch app already or as a separate standalone app which you login with your twitch account and it shows who you are moderator for so you can chose the streamer

Revert the last mobile update Revert the TikTok Update. It’s actually horrible and does not suit Twitch. The old view had nothing wrong with it and this is the exact opposite of innovative.

Please offer a way to revert to the old app format Please, please, please provide a way to revert to the old app (android) design.
The new app design makes it incredibly difficult to see what my followed streamers are doing at a glance, and I still haven't found a way to review my followed categories.
Everything I'm shown seems to be suggestions, but 99% of the time I'm on Twitch, I want to watch the streamers and categories I know and enjoy. There were already plenty of ways to discover new streams on the old app when I wanted to do that.

Remove the terrible persistent overlays that take up a significant portion of the screen on the mobile app So it turns out this is in fact not a bug, but a feature… LOL. I submitted a support ticket on it - asking them to please tell me this was not another “incredible new feature to fix what isn’t broken!” And this is the response I received:

add VOD playback speed on mobile Changing playback speed on twitch VODs have been useful for quickly scrubbing through archives or slow motion down eventful moments. However, it's currently only available for desktop. It would be a nice feature to be made available for mobile and tablets.

New Mobile UX is Unsuitable for Stream Viewing Dear Twitch
Since you're testing the new UX, I figured I'd send some feedback.
I really, really, REALLY dislike the new UX.
Twitch isn't TikTok. When I open Twitch, I carefully consider who I will watch judging by the thumbnails and stream titles. I will then watch those streamers until their stream ends. I never, EVER, watch a random stream and I don't think I'll ever will. Streams aren't short-form content. Revert the new update changes Please revert the new mobile app update. It is so much user friendly. If I wanted to watch tiktok streams I would go to tiktok. The layout was so much better before. I don’t want streams to auto play when I open twitch. This makes browsing such a chore and I feel like the app was perfectly fine before this update.

Revert to the previous version Please revert the mobile UI to as it was about a month ago. This includes a lack of autoplay, seeing all followed on open, and landscape chat returning to the side of the screen while removing the obtrusive bit/cheer/interact buttons.

New UI ruins the app for me Please please please let me just look at the streamers I follow who are live and what they are streaming. There is now no way for me to quickly get this information, and I’m not even sure I can get it without videos automatically playing. This makes the app entirely unusable for me. Disable gifted sub pop-up A recent mobile update has caused gifted subs to pop-up in an extended chat box across the screen. This takes away from the viewing experience and can be extremely irretable on bigger streamers where a lot of subs come in. This even occurs in fullscreen and throws the chat box up on screen meaning you have to disable it again.
I'm not the streamer, I don't particularly care about gifted subs.
Please give me the option to disable this pop-up.

Swipe to remove "Continue Watching" entry Sometimes I start watching a stream but decide not to continue and have no intention of going back to it or I join a stream but it's for subscribers only.
These appear under "Continue Watching" and I cannot easily get rid of it, especially if it's one that requires a Subscription which I don't have.
It would be nice to have the ability to left or right swipe an entry in my "Continue Watching" section to get rid of it. Other option would be a long-press to bring up an option to remove the entry or clear all entries.

Allow for /announcements to work on the mobile apps On March 31 2022, Twitch announced a new "Mod Feature: /announce" where people could use /announce and then a message would be higlighted in chat.
This has been proven to be useful for many chats and different uses. The only problem with it in it's current implementation, is that it doesn't work on the official Twitch Mobile Andriod App.
As a moderator on mobile, you can do "/announce and then your message". This will only appears on people who are using the PC/Web Browser versions of Twitch, and will not appear for anyone using the mobile application.
