1. Allow Prime content for mobile and Chromecast

   Mobile users are currently unable to participate in watch parties or sponsored streams like the recent one for Upload. If a viewer has Amazon Prime linked to Twitch, they should be able to watch Prime content on mobile and Chromecast or other similar services.

2. Overlay

   Please remove the persistent and annoying icon overlay. It completely downgrades the stream experience on mobile. Literally unwatchable

5. Awful new update + mobile app improvement feedback

   Hello,

   It took me a while to decide if I should even bother writing you - in case you actually care - so here goes:

   Already after using your current mobile app "update" for the first time, I hated the new layout. And it is not just me, it is virtually everyone I heard saying the same...

   So, for the love of God, could you tell me please why on earth you think the current (as of August 28th 2024) Twitch mobile app design is an improvement, and why you designed it in that awkward user-UNfriendly way in the FIRST PLACE!?? It is one of the worst experiences I've had on Twitch. So unintuitive and annoying!

   HERE ARE SOME POINTS...

   1. I don't want my first page to be some random streamer I don't care about! It is already annoying in the browser experience! So if you want to "push" viewers to discover other streamers why not just create a seperate dedicated "discovery" section for random streamers.

   2. The whole "Following and current live" page should be the main navigation panel rather than a small button at the top left hand. Because I want to see the preview thumbnail of the streamer's current live stream so I can decide if I want to watch it!

   Then there are also previous issues with the app before the "backwards devolution" update...

   1. Why is the MOBILE experience so different from the browser? Here are just some of the more IMPORTANT LITTLE DETAILS on mobile:

   3.1 When click-choosing an emote in chat message:
   - First, it doesn't actual illustrate the emote in my chat typebox. Instead there is the name of the emote in text form, which is not only confusing as to which emote we chose, but also...
   - Second, if we want to delete that emote, we have to manually delete that text, leading to potential additional confusion if removed incorrectly.

   3.1 Power-Ups are still not working on mobile!

   3.2 When we @t / mention another viewer - and vice versa - in chat on mobile, there is no obvious text "highlight" box of that viewer (or ours) to alert us to a mention.

   REGARDING OTHER MATTERS:

   If you care about streamers and viewers, why make the paycut so little for streamers and expensive for viewers? I'd love to support streamers, but your anti-social greedy business model/philosophy stops me from subscribing to more streamers or spending bits! If you just lowered your profit cuts a little more, you would see more viewers supporting the channel!!!

   Besides, I don't see any justification for the current price models, in order to still continue profits when you have certain streamers earning millions a year! And you make billions a year already!

   Also, why show ads in the very FIRST SECOND of joining a stream, instead of letting us watch for at least a few seconds to see if we want to even continue watching! (You see how all those bad descisions are driven by a narrow greedy business mindset!?)

   CONCLUSION

   Stop using us as experiments if you can't even realize yourselves how bad your decisions are! I noticed this for a while now, including all those ad, privacy and "artistic nudity" policies how out of touch your decision making is, and what kind of people you hire! It is actually mindnumbing how you don't seem to care or playtest these new "features".
   Is this really the best you can come up with?... To waste all your time and resources to deteriorate your user interface? Perhaps if you hired people who are based with a good common sense, intelligence and with their hearts at the right place, all these issues would probably never escalate to the point that some random viewer has to finally sit down and write a whole letter to a company whose supposed to be on top of things in the first place.

6. The new app is not good.

   The new app layout is not good. Forcing full screen ads and videos Ive never showed interest in is frustrating. I’m not opening Twitch for suggestions. I know what I want to watch. I’ll be uninstalling the app until you decide to revert this change.

7. The NEW UI MOBILE is horrible!!!!!

   What is this, if you’re going to copy TikTok at least make the app work. It looks horrible can’t even see who I’m following anymore. Who ever made this app needs fired. Give us back the old App that worked amazing 🤩

9. Revert UI changes

   It's horrendous and if fully implemented I will be only using twitch on PC. Know your place Twitch and atop trying to copycat Tiktok, you have a whole different audience.

12. Revert update and fix channel point counter

    In addition to the new garbage layout on mobile which should also be undone, the channel points counter doesn't show decimals anymore. For example, I have 50.5k channel points, but it says I have 50k.

13. UIを以前のに戻してください

    TikTokやyoutubeshortのようなUIはとても見にくいです。フォローしている配信者がどのようなことをしているのかいちいち配信を開かないとわからないのがとても改悪に感じます、この新しいホーム画面を採用するなら前のホーム画面と分けてください、以前のホーム画面を消す理由がわかりません。あとこのUIになってからダイジェストが見られません。
    そこだけでも直してください。
    即急な対応お待ちしております。

15. Banning Streamers

    How about you create a review process to verify legitimate streamers! The fact that someone complains and a streamer is banned is not professional. The streamer should receive a full report on why the ban has occurred with cited evidence proof of the ban.

16. Remove/hide chat overlay

    Remove or add an option to hide the chat overlay in landscape mode. I can't even see the map on LoL streams (bottom right of the screen) which is awful UX.
    Also remove the notification popping when you double tap the screen to show/hide chat. I know what I did and don't need a notification to inform me.

17. Revamp Creator Dashboard For mobile

    Mobile creator dashboard is essentially useless for mobile. I cannot view past vods, create clips, export to YouTube or any other desktop functions including all my channel settings. The only way I can use creator dashboard on my tablet is to load into the browser site and that only works on an android device. So if you want to do any kind of admin work on your channel… you have to do it on pc.

    Please give us the functionality of desktop creator on mobile so we can actually do more. The app as it stands or “create” mode does nothing useful outside of go live and edit your stream info when live.

18. Play stream without stopping music app audio

    I would love an option for a stream to play but not take over the iOS media audio stream. For example, in the Discord and Reddit apps, if a video is played, its audio will play at the same time as whatever is playing through iOS's background audio!

    This way we can watch streams and still listen to our own music

19. a way to use external microphone instead of the built in the phone

    just that
    i would like to stream irl with an external microphone so it doesnt sound bad because of the wind or just ambient noises
    also maybe a way to choose an external camera would be nice too
    but mostly i think the audio input would improve a lot if i can choose the mic that i want to use instead of the built in the phone

20. Twitch app, mobile - Filter by Language

    While using the iOS App, I always have to type in the language tag manually letter by letter to search for a stream in my language.
    When I go back to another category, I have to type in the language again.

    I wish that it will be changed to how it is in the webversion
    - that I set a language ones and all streams in that language are shown until I remove the tag + languages should be searchable tags in the App.
    I think that this issue is bad for the viewer experience.
