Stream-Manager in Landscape on Android I'd love to use the Stream-Manager on my Android tablet (with a magnetic keyboard attached), but the feature is portrait only for some reason. It would be great to be able to respont to comments on the tablet's physical keyboard.

"FOLLOWED CHANNELS" streams "list view" Hi,
Twitch has pushed a new interface that gives a video preview of "FOLLOWED CHANNELS" streams. But I now have to scroll down alot to see all my followed channels and decide which to watch. I'd like an option for a "list view", which basically shows the old twitch mobile interface of followed channels. The video previews imo adds no upside and only bloats the interface.

Chat still expands to fill half the screen on iPad when a hardware keyboard is connected. On the tablet version of the iOS Twitch mobile app, chat is normally positioned to the right side of the screen and is about the same width as on desktop.

When the software keyboard is enabled, chat expands to fill the upper-right quadrant of the screen while the stream stays in the upper left quadrant, which is normal.

However, when a hardware keyboard is connected, the software keyboard does not appear while typing; unfortunately, the chat still expands to fill half of the available screen real estate, minimizing the stream to the left.

Horizontal View & Stream Preview On Mobile Dashboard Can we please allow the mobile Twitch app dashboard to be viewed horizontally on the mobile dashboard instead of being stuck in vertical view? Also, can we please have the stream preview on the mobile dashboard? I use my tablet to monitor my stream and it would be convenient to be able to use the dashboard view instead of the channel view to monitor my stream when using the mobile app.

IOS Screen Capture Push notification/Overlay feature?? Push notification/widget for follow alerts, subscriber alerts, overtop of other apps, so that if we are distracted by the game while streaming on IOS, and possibly chat notifications also, so that streamers can see what their chat is saying without having a second device. This could also be used for donations, hosts, raids, bits. As long as the chat message isn’t too long, it should work for that also, but most streamers, would likely be happy to have the notifications for the follows, subs, etc, and still use a second device for chat, but that way for smaller streamers, they…

Bug: iOS app freezes when clicking chat box The iOS app has recently been freezing whenever I click on the chat box while watching a stream. The audio continues to come through, even when I swipe out of the app to my Home Screen, and does not fix until I hard quit out of the app. This problem has only been happening on my iPad Pro, app on my iPhone 14 works fine

mobile streaming BLOCK PHONE SCREEN FROM VIEWERS DURING MOBILE GAME STREAMS
I was wondering if we could make the mobile streaming while playing a mobile game a bit safer.
I'd like the ability to blind my viewers when playing a mobile game, bc sometimes certain games have certain in game notifications that cant be turned off, and pop up upon game start that show my email or other types of information I may not want shown asking me certain things, including updates for games.

Pause Button For Twitch Mobile App Just the most basic functionality of pausing an ongoing stream. I've had experiences when my connection broke, I could pause and play to have it reconnect. But somehow, pausing was removed after the redesign for apparently no reason. It would allow users to pause their streams whenever they wanted to.
I never thought I'd be asking for such a basic feature to be implemented but here I am. Twitch please.

Revert Notifications to Previous Format Until the most recent update to the Android app, notifications were in the following format:
Title: <Streamer> is streaming <Category>!
Text: <Streamer's 'Go Live Notification' message>This was mostly fine, though with longer usernames or certain categories, it could be unclear which game was being played - but depending on what the streamer wrote for their Go Live Notification (GLN), it could be clarified just by pulling the notification down and reading the text section.
But now with the latest version of the app, the notification comes in two flavours, seemingly at random. Either:

Hole punch camera support I recently upgraded my phone to the Pixel 5 with a hole punch camera in the front.
Netflix and Youtube support this via a pinch out zoom and fills the width of the screen, it appears that the Twitch app is almost there as it seems to support a pinch out zoom but it won't go all the way over and stops with a black bar over the camera and status bar area.
I would like the pinch out to zoom to fill the whole screen! Thank you

Twitch is broken After the last update on IOS if i want to type a message it doesn’t open the keypad and Twitch remains still, the image is blocked

Screen freezes when opening keyboard On iPad, tapping the chat box to open the keyboard freezes the screen (audio unaffected) for around 5 seconds, after which the keyboard will appear but the stream will change to 1 fps. As of new update.

Allow viewers to react with channels own emotes It would be really nice to be able to react with a channels own emotes to their stories. If there's concern about the amount of space this UI would take, let the creator pre-select which emotes are enabled for this.
Side note, clips being paused while reacting is quite annoying, especially since they don't autoplay afterwards.9 votes -
Advertisment timing/too many ads Usually whenever i pressed on some streamers, the advertisment always coming out on the best part/or interested part in the stream. The following solution for it is: either make it shorter like 10 or less. Or just rotate it whenever the stream ends his/her stream. I always missed the interesting parts due the too many ads to be honest and even longer ads which is really annoying. Please look at the advertisments durations and the time it showed up. Picture-in-picture Unable to minimize the player in the app without the player automatically going to picture-in-picture mode.
I have “start PiP automatically” DISABLED in my iOS settings.
Used to work like: when a stream is open normally, you could swipe down and the stream would go to a mini-player at the bottom of the screen.
Now: doing the same thing transitions the player to picture-in-picture, which I do not want.
Please resolve by reverting back to the previous functionality, or adding a setting to let the user choose which functionality they prefer.9 votes
