720p/60 FPS & `1080p/60 FPS on Series X/S

There's no reason the Series X/S can't stream at 60 FPS in 2022. I use Lightstream and despite offering 60 FPS as a subscription, it doesn't work due to the Twitch app not being updated to handle it.

Sony PS5 has the option to display streams at 1080p 60frames or 30fps.

Not sure why the series X/S cannot do the same. They are eligible to do 60fps why not give an option to do so? At least 720p 60 fps or something.

    Please fix this!!!!!!!!!!!

We are still waiting twitch! Make 60fps a thing! Console and internet can handle it NO problem. The only problem is you!

Fix this already, it's a joke at this point... Why can't the Series X/S stream at 60 FPS?!

This is a joke and that's it, pathetic it is !!
  • GWAVE23 commented  ·   ·  Report

Literally this needs to happen. It's pathetic that they are restricting the Series X to 30fps.

Playstation 4/5 can stream 1080p 60fps. I just did it with Dragon's Crown Pro. No reason at all for Xbox not to have the feature.

Twitch is not a funny joke to block fps up to 30 on the most powerful console !!!!

It's been a freely available feature on PlayStation since last-gen, instead you're coercing paid subscriptions to third-party software to have access to the feature on Xbox, proving it's already possible to achieve but only with this unethical monthly fee.

Would like more options for streaming from Xbox, specifically the Xbox One X -- perhaps 720p/60Hz and/or 1080p/60?
  • DukeJason commented  ·   ·  Report

As the title says, 30 fps feels broken. Its 2021 and we need 60fps at 720 and 1080p minimum. I wont bother asking for 4k. I felt like taking my xbox back and getting refund.
  • Dancovich commented  ·   ·  Report

Currently (at least on Xbox) we can choose the resolution but not the framerate, which is stuck on 30fps. Please add 60fps options. If the issue is performance, then at least limit the option to SeriesX/PS5.

I'm on the Xbox Series X and i can't stream at 60fps why is this we should be able to choose between 30fps and 60fps i hope it will be sorted soon.
