Yes please I use a sound board in game chat and my streams aren't nearly as funny since you just hear me play my sound board and can't hear why I'm playing it or the funny stuff that conversation that happens because of it

My friend and I just downloaded twitch and made an account on our Xbox consoles so we can help each other out but neither I or her can see each other's chat rooms why is that how are we supposed to help each other out if we cannot see the chat rooms I wish twitch would fix that I mean mixer had it and yet they took it away

We really need to have the chat box on screen while streaming on xbox because we have to look away mid game to check the chat on other devices which doesn't seem efficient.

I am having the same issue

I agree with this. I think its a pain to have to crank my neck and use my phone or an ipad to check stream chat. When I could check from the console itself. I agree with your points

Same problem. This must affect so many start up streamers who can’t justify paying for the required accessories, capture card etc. without seeing their potential stream growth first

So there is people like me out there who don't have a computer to pull their twitch and see the chat, it would be nice to not have to look away at my phone or whatever to see what someone said, cause mixer (is not a thing anymore) on xbox had a chat box so I dont see why twitch couldn't have 1, I would like to see my chat pop up on my TV while I'm playing a game..

I'm having the same problem, the stream doesn't pick up in game chat while playing crossplay with mates.
Twitch sent me to Microsoft, Microsoft sent me to twitch.May just have to bite the bullet, sell my series X and move to PS5
Poor showing from Microsoft

So this is a weird one because it’s more on Xbox and Sony than it is on twitch ive looked into it as a streamer because i don’t want to buy a capture card and a laptop to play and get audio from my friends who play PlayStation but I believe xbox has some weird privacy thing where they say “we protect our clients from unwanted recording of their voices.) it’s all BS but hopefully twitch can fix it

I'm assuming this is a Microsoft thing. If in-game audio is broken for multiple games on EVERYONE'S stream, that means it wasn't a single games update. Please fix this, I mean PLEASE, fix this. It was so nice to have for the last month or two, and before that, there were a few glitches that worked so that we could include them anyway. Now those glitches are completely patched, and the normal way of doing it (mono input), just doesn't freaking work. Please for the love of all things good and holy, FIX THIS

Yeah it also doesn't work on Fortnite. This would be really handy especially coming from someone who'd like to start streaming and can't because of this issue. Only my voice runs through the stream and not the in-game chat.
The fix isn't simply, "Use party chat" because I play with people on other platforms, eg. PS4 and PC. -

the fact that this worked on games for fortnite for approximately a month and i’m searching for why it isn’t working anymore is agitating. i’m on a new gen console and it still hasn’t been fixed. please find a solution asap

I stream of my xbox one but also use the laptop so i can see the chat room. what i would like to be able to do is to see my chat pop up on the same screen i use to play my games on, that way i don't miss out on anyone that has come into the room to say hi. At the moment I don't use obs or stream labs as I lose to many FPS so I'm only using the xbox witch stream.

Have a chat box - this will be good for streamers on Xbox or PS. That way they don't have to look at two different devices while streaming - they can keep their eyes on one screen, instead of playing on one screen then having to look at the chat on another screen.

When Mixer was still an available platform to stream on, you could have chat appear on screen right under where you could see the amount of viewers and chat messages, there would be 5 or 6 messages from the chat on there, and this would seem to be very easy to recreate with Twitch.

It really has been an agitating situation i have been having this issue as well since I started streaming it was my plan to create my own brand ( I have started ) and progress from there but the viewers of my content aren't able to enjoy the comedy or fun atmosphere my peers and myself are trying to create for them during my streaming sessions as they can't hear my group in the game
