overlays, tip trackers and cam features
streaming on ps4 is frustrating without the above, if you offered psn users some overlay options that would be awesome. you can even use it to advertise movies and games etc.

Hey, I don't know if you found a solution by now but I recently started streaming and found Lightstream to be a decent middle ground. I don't have a baller PC either and getting one is out of the question for now. Luckily Lightstream can intercept the broadcast straight from the console and integrate overlays using a web browser instead of pushing that horsepower on your laptop. It takes some getting used to, but you will find tons of online videos to narrow in on the style you want. Hope that helps

There is an overlay. Extension called OVERLAY EXPERT, it's free, all you have to do is YouTube how to customize it, and load it up. Only 1 can be used at a time though, so you can't also use the NOTIFICATIONS extension. Want to be like a pro, pay the $$ for a capture card, or move over to PC and pay for it like they all do...

We need overlays on console because without the overlays we look extremely lame and boring compared too anyone on pc. Not having this ability really does hinder the ability too gain and keep followers interested outside of game play alone. It would also be great if we could make use of things like twitch studio. An entire community base is left in the dust because of these simple changes.

Exactly, and even with a ballin' set up on PC when streaming with poopy internet - that doesn't make it any better. If there was a way to have the console interface include more of the available content from overlays to widget's would be amazing. It would eliminate barriers to entry and would broaden the community.

there has to be some way to intercept the signal just before twitch receives it in order to show the viewers. it really puts console streamers at a bigger disadvantage than the pc streamer. As its easier to keep attention with overlays and on screen events. all console streamers dream of having a capture card and a baller pc with god tier specs. some of us pick up the knock off laptop, some of us have hard times in life, some just go the extra mile and do both. just some thing cause the current way to do it causes to much lag and stutter.
