api call to reset stream key I see you have it in your v5 API https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/v5/reference/channels#reset-channel-stream-key
But it seems like there's no way to do this in the current API? This would allow someone to create an automated channel for a community, like the Randomania channel, or the ZeldaSpeedruns channel

Get moderators endpoint - remove need for broadcaster authorization The Helix /moderation/moderators endpoint currently requires an OAuth token from the broadcaster. Given you can just do /mods in any chat (not requiring authorization from the broadcaster), what is the point of requiring the authorization here?

Gift sub grouping When a "gift bomb"
there is no way to gather all the gifts into one event.
Each gift in a bomb should have a ID to link it to the header event.IRC sends a header saying "x is giving out y subs to the community"
But the USERNOTICE events, don't say they belong to that event.Please provide a way to group the events, something as simple as a "parentid" in the child gifts subs, that'll link to a "childid" in the header event.
This header and extra ID's need to be provided on the PubSub event…

Extended Get Clips Parameters Currently the Get Clip endpoint (/clips) is really plain, and not in a really good way. If we could make more complex queries, that would reduce the number of requests we need to make; therefore, less load on Twitch API itself. If I want 50 English clips from the top clips of a single game, let's say League of Legends, I will have to make 3 requests, ignore those that aren't English, and finally list the top 50. But if I can query a game's top clips, AND the language, I can get those 50 clips all in one request.…

Ability to gift subscriptions or prepay for subscriptions to give via API I know this idea has been asked on the support forums over the years, so I'd like to suggest another use case. I have some friends that I like to gift subscriptions to at a channel we all enjoy. As a programmer, it pains me to enter my credit card in several times to give each person a sub when I know there's probably a better way that can be achieved programmatically. Ideally I'd like to have a system where I could push a button or have a cron go off and give subs to several people.

"Ephemeral" messages Since private messages are unreliable for bots (and bots sending them are frowned upon - and I totally get the reason), can we have the ability for bots to send "ephemeral" messages to chat - messages that only a given user will see. This will also be useful for streamers. These can be displayed in the same way as "you can now redeem X award" or (better) like "You have gotten drop X/hype emoji X" messages.

Audio only API for embedding in audio players like Mopidy So I'm trying to do a multi-room audio solution with Mopidy (https://mopidy.com/) and Snapcast (https://mjaggard.github.io/snapcast/), and I'm following many DJs on Twitch, and tune in for the music. I'd like to be able to have a Mopidy extension to be able to receive and listen to Twitch streams from the server, without having to use my phone or anything.
I don't mind if I need to login/OAuth token, I don't mind for the usual occasional audio ads, I just want to be able to access the AUDIO stream so I can listen to it more conveniently.

What scopes does my ClientID have for a user? Given that EventSub only uses an App Access Token.
It's possible for a developer to obtain user authentication and never store the token (and/of refresh token if one exists (ie implict has no refresh)) and only utilise EventSub.
Please provide an endpoint

API for Moderation Tools We're currently unable to CRUD User Notes from the Moderators Update last year. We also cannot read/issue a timeout or issue a ban via API.

Create Clip enhancements When creating a clip via the Create Clip API, it is VERY limited compared to the (not for public use) GraphQL interface. Requesting that the following enhancements be made to the Create Clip API so that 3rd party apps can leverage them:
1) Add ability to specify the clip start time (number of seconds from when the broadcast started). Reason: when deciding when to create a clip, apps may want to look back 10-15 seconds instead of generating the clip starting from when the API is called.

Show available resolutions (transcoding options) in Get Videos API The Kraken API for querying videos lists the available resolutions for archived broadcasts and current streams. The new API does not.

hype train With the way how certain bots work, Webhooks wouldn't work with said bots. So my Suggestion is to include PubSub so more bots can utilize features like Hype Train and other stuff included on twitch.

Add "Channel title" ingredient to IFTTT (If That Then This) Would be nice to if the Twitch service over at IFTTT had the channel title as an ingredient to be used.
This would enable a huge range of services to utilize the channel title for marketing purposes.
Zapier has this, but not IFTTT.

Provide CRUD for rules Please provide an endpoint to

The /rules of a channel.
Usecase:
Moderators/channel staff/lead moderator may need to revise the rules of a channel on the fly.
This currently would require the broadcaster to "stop streaming"/playing the game/entertaining in order to do so.A scope and endpoint should be provided to allowed authorised parties to update the rules.
