This Twitch user melts ICE. I don't want ads showing off Trump's personal Schutzstaffel anywhere on my screen or anyone else that I watch.

I am a Twitch partner. Twitch requires me to run ads. But as a daughter of an immigrant and as a streamer who creates a welcoming space for all people, I do not want my platform being used to advertise ICE recruitment. That is disgusting. Don’t make my stream political. Don’t use my platform to advertise for and support terrorists. Of all the products and things that can be advertised, don’t advertise for an organization that thrives on fear and hate.

No ICE ads on Twitch. You can't have them if you do Latin ads. Come on now.

opt out is a fine option, but also just don't allow them to run ads on this platform at all. :) abolish ICE.

I'm already grump and side-eye-squint at the US Military advertising in general (be it on twitch or on TV), but for you to to put advertisements for what is all-but the US version of the Schutzstaffel in your ad rotation, Twitch? I'd expect this BS out of Twitter/X, with the salute Elon did, but I thought you at least still had someone pretending to not just see the userbase as a disposable income source...

The idea of my content being associated with a terrorist organization like ICE makes me sick. Running ICE recruitment ads on my page and potentially giving anybody the idea that I am in support of those criminals is practically defamation of character. Give me the option to opt-out of displaying these ads on my channel, or just keep that filth off the website entirely.

I will never endorse or support ICE. It is a fascist organization who deserves no airtime.

As creators, we should be able to opt out of ads benefiting those who harm us. If it's true that ICE is running ads on twitch, as a Latinx person, that is heinous to have ads like that on my channel.

If an ICE ad plays on my stream and someone tells me about it, I am deleting my account and not coming back.

As someone who's starting out streaming again, as someone who's used this platform as a way to let folks hide and recuperate from whatever happened in the world that day, this is honestly a disgusting and intrusive thing that you've done.

This, as a whole, is a major slap in the face to creators and viewers alike, as a lot of us use this platform as a ways to escape the world around us. ICE, bluntly put, is a terrorist organisation and allowing them ad space on this platform is gross and highly inconsiderate. We, as streamers, should be allowed to choose who we let run in the ads that we have to run on the half hour or hour.
For the pennies you throw at us for our ad revenue, you can at least do this much. Let us vet our ad space. Get rid of ICE in the ad space.

As creators, we should be able to opt out of ads in support of I.C.E or ads that promote the current administration in the United States. It is shameful that twitch allows such ads to be hosted on their platform, as it perpetuates the harm this administration is causing to millions of Americans and undocumented families. It is unconscionable, and history will not look favorably at this complicity.

Creators should have the ability to choose to reject certain advertisers or advertising categories from their content.

I'm an Australian streamer, if I hear so much of a whisper of any ICE ads being run on the channel I'm gonna be majorly upset, and will likely move to a new streaming site

If we're not allowed to talk about transgender issues without mature-flagging our streams, then we should also be allowed to cut ICE ads and other right-wing political nonsense.

As a creator I should be able to opt out from ads that are contrary to the beliefs and values of the content I create. Ads related to government recruitment, military/law enforcement recruitment, and organizations such as ICE do not belong on my channel and frankly on twitch at all. I'm a little sick to my stomach just thinking that you thought accepting advertising revenue from an organization that is harming so many was an okay thing to do.

Well, I WAS considering starting Twitch streaming soon, but the notion of ICE ads being shown on the platform without any control or input from streamers may have just killed my motivation to do so - I will likely encourage everyone who watches streams here to use every known ad blocker across the board, abandon the platform, and/or take legal action on behalf of who actually gives the platform its fame: ITS USERS AND STREAMERS.
This one-sided approach to political content will not be tolerated in the slightest: To flag users’ content as political while promoting political advertising that is known to be DIVISIVE AND HARMFUL and forcing it upon streamers makes us think that there is something sketchy going on - perhaps influence and control from the current administration.
Streamers and viewers deserve MUCH better than this. If anyone still streams here, encourage the use of third-party donation services and every type of ad blocker to shut this nonsense down.
And if this idea and the people who support it are suppressed in any way, we will NOT be silent.

As a streamer, and just as someone using the platform, I should have the right to dictate what advertisements are shown to me, as well as what advertisements are shown to those watching my channel. The fact that Twitch is paying affiliated and partner streamers *pennies* in ad revenue is already disgusting as is--If someone is expected to stream for least 3 hours *minimum* to please how twitch works, they deserve the right to manage what advertisements get shown, how often, how long, and they also deserve the right to get paid reasonably for those three hours. I'm a person of mixed heritage who's found community among friends of hispanic and asian heritage, with many of them being first or second generation immigrants. Intolerance and hate does not belong anywhere near the community that fosters myself within my personal/private life, nor the community that I publicly foster as a streamer, and my efforts as a streamer should not line the pockets of advertisements that clearly are broadcasted by organizations that look to cause harm.

Creators should be allowed to opt out of governmental ads, such as ICE, the military, or political campaigns. These should be a category that is opt-in ONLY.

This is just too much of a wrong move. There is no way Twitch could expect their streamers to not only willingly, but actively want, such ads to be shown amongst their content. Either remove the ad or allow streamers the option to not show it. To push such recruitment ads while people are being hurt and targeted, and families are being unnecessary separated is tasteless, heartless and disgusting.

ICE is the modern day Gestapo, and should not be allowed to advertise. period.
