Make Boosts Better With Curated Recommendations Twitch has different 'boosting' features available to some streamers, such as channel point boost challenges or the new Boost Train. While great in theory for discoverability, completed boost recommendations right now seem to be sent to completely random users.
This means that recommendations are not always seeking the audience that the streamer is hoping to reach, or is content viewers aren't looking for. For example, when checking my own Front Page for these boosted recommendations, I've mostly been recommended channels streaming in languages I do not speak, or in categories I've never engaged in as a viewer or streamer.
This…

Give us the obvious ability to easily block any tag or category we choose. Please give us the ability to search for a certain category and be able to block it or turn it off recommendations so we do not see it. I went through setting after setting and could not find an easy way to disable it. I then said not interested manually and they keep popping back up. Like in the case of pools, hot tubs and beaches category in IRL, you are just preying on vulnerable needy men for a profit. Stop it. Or at list give us an easy quick and obvious option to block any category or tag we…

Add a Construct 3 tag There is already a tag for Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot but not one for Construct 3. Construct is an game engine that is growing a lot in popularity. This would help viewers find streams that relate to this engine.

let users link social media sites like twitter (or addressbook) to our twitch accounts to find people we already know I would love recommend channels to included lists of accounts I followed on twitter (as example) to show up and be promoted on the site and also have people be able to find my twitch account linked via twitter.
Not only would I like this, I would also love to be able to incorporate my address book as well, find people I already know on twitch via my contacts.

Recommendation of front page streamers i haven't been visiting twitch in some time now, because everytime i come, i see that same streamer that I've already tagged I DON'T WANT to have recommended! can you fix that twitch, honestly? I get recommended someone with 3k viewers, maybe recommend someone lesser? shame on you and your algorithm, how can this happen on such big streaming page? 50% profits of every single sub THAT SHOULD BE GOING TO A HARD WORKING STREAMER BTW not enough?

Tag Not interested in - TAG
We are able to say that we are not interested in a certain game showing up in our recommendations. Why not tags?
I would like to be able to stop languages that I don’t speak, etc, from being recommended. Stops me from having to say that I am NOT INTERESTED one at a time.

Viewer Referral / Recommendation System with Rewards Currently, Word of Mouth is a big factor for channels being discovered by new viewers. You've found a great new channel that you think your friends will enjoy so you want to tell them about it. Currently, all you do is share the channel link with your friends and you've directly helped that channel grow... but there's no direct reward for helping that channel.
What if there was a 'referral' system available where you could share a link, with a particular referral code, with your friends and if they choose to follow the channel you receive a bonus amount of…

Finding new streams that you and your friends and people you follow like before twitch was the best site ever i could very easily find great new people to watch because my friends and the people i follow like what i like and I could see new people that they were watching and find lots of great new people to watch but now I can just get a list of people and i click on 100 of them and 100 of them suck its terrible now I don't have the time mental stability or patience to find new people before I would click on 5 people that people were watching and 5 would…

Make it so we can filter out VTubers, please. For a lot of viewers, like myself, twitch is a great way to get some human interaction while at home, and especially after this past year, it provides some much needed feeling of contact even without being face-to-face. I would like to request the ability to filter out VTubers or add a tag for non-VTubers or something similar, because there are so many of them, and for viewers like myself, we have no interest in watching an animated model speak, we want to watch real people.
VTubers have carved out their niche and that's wonderful, but if we can search…

To put streamers with 1-100 average views on other peoples suggested streamers at least once I made this idea so twitch can be enjoyable for ALL streamers.

Choosing tags for recommendations Could you, please, add an opportunity to to choose tags by default for recommendations? For example, if I choose a tag "English" in my settings, all streams in my recommendation will have this tag.

"Not interested" option unavailable on promoted streams As reported on reddit [1] a stream that is in a promoted state (I believe this is the community reward boost thing?) doesn't have a Not interested option.
Could this please be added?

More Focused Featured Content I think it would be a good idea if when logging on to twitch that the main featured content inst specifically people that are the most viewed creators live but instead smaller communities that focus on the tags we use on our own streams, and/or even have a cycle that highlights various minorities.

new tag I would like to see a tag for #olderplayers. I am a 54 year old man who started playing FPS games just so I could play with my children after my wife left me. I do not know how many of us there are out there playing Apex, but it would be nice to have a tag for us, anyone over the age of 40 at this point is older in these types of games. I appreciate your consideration for this and look forward to seeing it in the tag area soon.
Thank you sincerely,

Don't include "suggested" channels more than once on the front page A channel that is recommended under "live channels we think you'll like" should not be listed a second time on the same page (ie, under "what's hot" or game related categories).
Channels we already follow shouldn't appear in our recommendations at all. Why should they be there? We already follow them.
These redundancies take up valuable space on the Front Page; they are also a detriment to discoverability.

Customize Channel Listings and Feed Proactively Would be preferential to be able to choose which categories I want to have displayed, and what types of streams I want to see (like being able to toggle and set my defaults to show small streamers with 2-10 viewers, or in some bracket like that).
I do not enjoy watching the larger streams, unless they're tournaments or musicians. I'd also like to be able to completely remove just chatting and politics from ever showing up but I shouldn't have to toggle to say "not interested" I should be able to declare my preferences up front.

Block categories You should be able to block a category just like you can block a stream and a user.
For example, some people don't want to see naked streams and categories in their recommendations.
