"Coworking and Study" Category Last year, you all implemented a "coworking" tag for WFH, study, and remote working streams.
All of us in the coworking community really appreciated the tag! It helped users and viewers find streamers to study alongside, especially in a time when everyone was working from home. CyberSecurity I would like a Cyber Security Category. There is a large community of CyberSec streamers and even more followers. Currently there are only 3 categories we can stream under:

Hack The Box
Science and TechTryHackMe and HackTheBox are usually never used as although we do stream content from both websites we will often swap platforms or stream other platforms/things in between.

Twitch category name collision Currently two (or more) games with the exact same name (usually reboots) share the same category in Twitch. And all the cover art, description, tags are taken from only one of the games. This usually means that the other game(s) effectively completely lacks a page on twitch, despite being a completely different game and having unique gameplay. Can something be done about this?

'Speedrunning' as it's own Twitch category Not every streamer uses tags, not every speedrun game is a commonly searched game directory. What if we gave more visibility to speedrunners by having a category just for this type of gaming. That way people with the interest can find new speedrunners and even get to know new speedrun games.
Speedrunning is no longer a niche hobby, it has grown massively on Twitch over the last five years, not to mention some of the largest fundraising efforts on the platform are speedrun related.

Mechanical Keyboards As the mechanical keyboard community continues to grow, the Makers and Crafting section is becoming overwhelmingly overrun by keyboard makers. This sub-community continues to exceed beyond the presumptuous categories related to tech and gaming -- our community is filled with creative directors, athletes, artists, designers, etc. Creating a dedicated category for the construction of mechanical keyboards, will allow this sub community to grow with more intention, and allow this niche hobby to have a more significant role in the future of culture and tech.

ASMR Ear Lick The ASMR category and a lot of its creators have been affected by a massive wave of ear licking streams, which do not reflect the ASMR category's purpose.
I'm proposing the creation of a different category for that so that creators can all have their streams labelled correctly and viewers can easily find what they are looking for.

Add a general Star Wars category. We would love to see a general Star Wars category where all fans doing all things Star Wars related could stream in that category. For example, playing SWTOR? You could stream in that category. Star Wars cosplayers could stream in the category. Other Star Wars games, same thing. The Star Wars game viewership isn't as large as other categories, but Star Wars content combined could be something great. We'd love to see this happen so we could help the games get more traffic and meet a lot more Star Wars nerds. ;o) Thanks!

Metazoo Metazoo is a new TCG, rapidly growing in popularity that launched it's first set in summer of 2021. The game has been streamed a decent amount though under the Pokemon Trading Card Game category. The game having it's own category would allow fans to follow the game to watch gameplay, unboxings and breaks from a variety of creators.

River City Ransom "River City Ransom" was removed as a category when creating a new stream.
The closest category that matches this game on Twitch is "Downtown Nekketsu Story", the Japanese version of River City Ransom. Very few people who play River City Ransom in the US, Australian, and European markets would refer to the game as Downtown Nekketsu Story. Adding DMZ as a game category to help discoverability would like to add call of duty : dmz as a separate category on twitch to help discoverability for dmz creators so we aren't all lost in the warzone category

Can we get a Category Can we possibly get a category for steamers that read/narrate books? Topics like "Storytime" and "Storytelling" are both linked to obscure video games, and ASMR is linked to far too many whispering & synthesized ear licking channels.
