3. Optimize Twitch

   Honestly, I don’t know what exactly needs to be done, but twitch, unlike the same YouTube, always lacks Internet speed. I watch streams via wifi. Through the Windows task manager, I often see that twitch consumes over 20 Mbps and uses 70% of my processor. At peak moments of using the Internet, streams and recordings of streams do not freeze, but the speed constantly increases from 0 to 20 Mbps and falls back, at times when it is below 10 Mbps or I open even the usual "new tab" in Google stream or its RECORDING (it's like a regular YouTube video) completely freezes, 720p quality doesn't always help. Even while I'm writing this via google translator (.-.) the stream constantly hangs and drops the quality to 360p.

4. Audio levels snaps to 10% when going low

   Please fix the bug (or feature added recently?) where your sound level snaps to 10%. I usally have 3 or 4% when watching streams, but latley it snaps to 10% or Off.
   Its very frustrating and sounds are really loud at 10%.

5. Audio

   I feel like there is alot of room to improve in the Audio Quality Area. Twitch should have a Dolby Atmos or DTS or 360 degree audio decoder and encoder for the Music Streams. Especially the Dj Streams. That is the upcoming new audio technology and with Nividia Broadcast and their drivers it will be a perfect fit.

6. video playback cancelled error messages

   I am re-re-reposting this as you closed the ticket without addressing the issues I raised!

   1) Getting an increasing number of video playback cancelled error messages while watching twitch. - I have use the cog to report more times than I can count but the issue is not getting resolved!

   2) I would use the contact support feature but your bot is too stupid to understand me and sends me unrelated replies. - Not addressed!

   3) don't close open tickets until you have solved and address the issues, its plan rude and stops people up voting if they are having the same issues! - Not addressed

7. Ingest/Relay Server functionality

   Add the option for users to select which relay/ingest server to use( if they need to)
   This solves most if not all issues with dropped frames which are a result of bad routing, some countries (in my case South Africa) has really bad routing to Twitch servers and without using a local relay/ingest server we cannot stream anything above 480p30fps (without experiencing massive dropped frames which make the stream unbearable to watch) which is the only reason I cannot use Twitch Studio over other platforms right now.

8. About bandwidth cost

   to decrease the overall bandwidth cost

   You could increase the bitrate for partners at 15000
   keep the same limit of bitrate for the affiliate at 8000

   and for a new channel put it at 15000 for a limited time (in condition to have regular viewership and people talking in chat)

   and having regular viewer being able to boost the channel popularity with channel points was also really good !

   you also can reduce the maximum quality for new streamers to 720p 30fps
   and unlock the vod feature only for affiliate and partners but propose to link a youtube account for the new users

9. Please for the love of god improve the app/integrated app performance of you platform

   Please actually update the android and iOS streaming to chromecast/device options. I'm watching a chill stream and its literally 240/360p for most of the time im sending to device even if they're standing completely still while grabbing a drink, its absolutely embarrassing a company of your size and supposed coding expertise can't figure out how to make "supported apps" run at a half decent resolution.

10. Expired Security Certificate embedded in streams

    Viewing live streams prompts an AntiVirus Warning that an embedded Security Certificate is currently expired. Warning reads: "attempted to establish a connection relying on an expired certificate to global.poe.live-video.net. We blocked the connection to keep your data safe since websites must renew their certificates with a certification authority to stay current, and outdated security certificates represent a risk."

11. Change content provider for Hungary

    As I got informed by my ISP you changed provider locally for content distribution some weeks ago. Since that all the streams are laggy, buffering, stopping etc.. Using VPN would solve the issue but that shouldn't be a must have to watch streams.

12. Make vertical scrollbars extend to the edge of the window

    The vertical scrollbars on most pages don't extend to the edge of the window (Browser dev tools indicate a 2 pixel gap between scollbar and the edge). Which means that when the window is maximized, you can't just jam the cursor to the right of the screen and click to grab the scrollbar. You have to make effort to very carefully move the cursor into the extremely tiny 6 pixel wide scrollbar and then grab it.

13. I have found a solution to lagging that occurs for many twitch streamers

    I have found a concrete solution to the lag that causes many streamers the issue of the stream lagging when a stream is occurring and have written a small solution paper to address the solution.

    Twitch Stream Lagging Solution

    If you a gamer many people are engaged in streaming on one of the platforms
    for gaming such as twitch. The focus of this article is to hopefully provide an

    insight into an issue which many people find after they’ve been streaming for
    a bit. Consider this, you finally got your status as paid in twitch and you’re

    starting to get money in your account and than it starts to happen. Your

    stream begins to lag every time that your on it.

     You become really concerned, begin to do all your research on it.  What 
    

    really bites is that your dad perhaps or even you just got that new pc installed

    and your thinking to yourself, how could this be? So you begin to make all

    normal troubleshooting moves with twitch. Your using Streamlabs Obs, most
    likely, or twitch studio, you check all the settings for streaming, changing the

    recommended settings you find on every article on streaming and lagging

    that you find on the internet.

     Here is the issue, the solution lies in the connectivity, windows 10 has 
    

    different upgrades since windows 7 & windows 8. One of those upgrades is

    Windows has built into it a set of algorithms that automatically choose

    which connection is best for your use on the network. For example, if your

    used to using ethernet cable, you might be surprised to find out when your

    gaming and you begin to lag. To cut to the chase, I was researching this for

    my son’s issue and here is where the rabbit hole took me.

    On my home system which is with Cox network 1 gb connection because

    we’re both into gaming and streaming, I checked the router logs and found

    that the IPv6 which is the wi-fi was getting wan-attacks on the firewall logs.

    Wan stands for “wide area network”, and the numbers were significant, at

    least between 1500-7058, on a daily basis. When there was “black ice” on

    windows side, and also Linux ubuntu, there was a few programs that would

    identify the ip address from where the attack originated. I found out that a

    a lot of them originated from China and the orient.

    I m going to weave this to relevance now, what has been happening is that

    windows will switch your connection from the ethernet to the wif-fi network

    connection and so what happens is that your busy streaming and it begins to

    lag, and you want to quit. It can be quite , maddening and to say the least

    frustrating, because you thought that you had a solid connection, at least

    thats what your paying for right ?

     So we go back to the windows command shell, cmd at the search field in 
    

    windows and type the command “ipconfig” and it shows that our ethernet is

    disconnected, but the wifi does show a connection. Heres the thing, your

    connections to your network shifted to the wifi instead of the ethernet

    connection you have directly via ethernet cable to the router. You can thanks

    windows metric algorithms for changing your connection automatically.

       The reason for the lag is that most folks in the US are being attacked on 
    

    wifi networks on a daily basis at some point in the day you can look at the

    router logs and see the attacks on the network. Yes the firewall will block

    them however, it will still have the effects of causing lags when your playing

    your favorite games, and Streaming to your favorite platform, like Twitch.

     The solution to this dilemma is to in the windows 10 search field on the 
    

    task bar, type in wifi. It will take you to the settings tab when you click on it

    where you can simply turn off the wifi connection manually and it will stay

    off, so that you can just use your static internet connection you created in

    your network adapter, instead of your wifi connection. So at this point ,

    your lagging issue will go bye bye, happiness will return as well as the

    money for streaming and all will be well.

     The attacks will probably continue as Korea and China are still training 
    

    their army of hackers , so the rule of thumb here is to sidestep your troubles

    and stick to using your ethernet cable connection to your router, and use a

    static IP address for your gaming connection or for that fact any other type of

    work I as a business that connects to the internet .

     Else-wise, one will find themselves vulnerable to the continuing attacks.
    

    On a side note, if the wifi doesn’t show up in windows 10 you have to go

    through a few additional steps, such as opening device manager, finding the

    wifi driver listed, right click and choose, update driver, and choose search on

    your machine. Once that is done choose the driver it finds on your machine

    most likely it will show intel and also Microsoft. I choose Microsoft,

    because the driver on wifi was showing intel, and the wifi on my son’s pc

    was not showing up in the network connections. After this then , hit

    “scan hardware for changes” on the little icon in the menu area ..After this

    open the task manager up and highlight windows explorer and restart it.

     After doing this you will notice in the taskbar that the wifi does now in
    

    fact show up and you can manually click on it to turn it off so that your

    connection to the internet will be thru your ethernet cable to your router.

     I wrote this because my son asked me to write him a text so he could 
    

    check it before he starts his computer for gaming , lol. I hope this has been

    helpful and of course check your streaming settings if you’re feeling that

    could be the cause, and by all means check to see which connection your

    gaming is actually using !

14. Ingest Switching

    Add a streamer configurable delay from when stream is ended in software until stream ends on the website. It is already possible in some way as disconnection protection exsits but it would allow streamers to change ingest servers while they're live if one is currently experiencing issues.

    Essentially just expand disconnection protection to all scenarios. If Twitch detects no feed, give us time to come back even if it is a delieberate disconnection. You can currently get lucky and see the NotLikeThis error screen when you disconnect normally and switch ingests but I'd like to see it be controlled.

15. Bug Enhanced Broadcasting & vertical and horizontal live stream

    I use multi-track video (Enhanced Broadcasting). However, for the past few days, I've been accepted into the beta program for the dual format (vertical and horizontal live stream), but the multi-track (Enhanced Broadcasting) system is no longer working.

    In addition, I can no longer stream in mono-track video.

    Is it possible to leave the beta program for the dual format (vertical and horizontal live stream) and revert to the horizontal format only?

16. Upgrade to AMD encoder

    I've been struggling to manage a high quality stream with my AMD RX 7800XT. No matter what bitrate I am using, the quality is blurry, while other streamers on NVIDIA and or a 9000 series AMD GPUs have access to great encoders.

    Please consider implementing a better low bitrate encoder for all AMD users as the card mentioned is already a high tier GPU, but it still cannot stream a clear image on the platform.

17. Wierd bug after Twitch started war with bots

    Alot of people from my stream and my friends streams (streamers mostly from Czech and Slovakia) are reporting huge stutters on streams, their viewers are telling them. (micro loading times) They sometimes get LONG loading times and sometimes it completely stops their stream and they need to F5, I'm not sure if it's happening only to people in Czech and Slovakia BUT even when I watch KaiCenat, XQC and other international streamers I get the same issue. It all started happening when war with bots happened. I have 1000-1000 internet connection and this was never an issue, I never changed a single setting or piece of hardware nor did my friends or the viewers. Please look at it, there is something wrong deep in and there is no way how to fix it. Twitch is killing CZ/SK community, I was talking with support and they redirected me to this forum so the developers can see the issue.

18. Allow for Custom Parameters when using Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting/Multiple Encodes

    Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting is by default a downgrade compared to server-sided transcoding.

    1. Server-sided transcodes provide a 3500kbps bitrate for the 720p60 non-source track. When using Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting, the 720p60 track is limited to 2500kbps, a reduction of 1000kbps or approximately 28.6%.

    2. Non-partners are effectively denied from streaming 720p60 at 6000kbps. As twitch reduces transcode availability, more non-partners will be forced to use Twitch Enhanced broadcasting to have multiple encodes. Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting limits the bitrate for 720p60 streams to 4500kbps. This is a reduction of 1500kbps or 25%. Effectively, non-partners must choose between the higher perceptual quality of 720p60 at 6000kbps, or lower perceptual quality at 4500kbps to also have transcodes. This is arbitrary.

    3. Custom parameters allow for higher perceptual video quality, especially during high motion scenes. For example, according to EposVox, on RDNA2 & RDNA3 series GPUs, the highest perceptual video quality is achieved with 1 b-frame, and 2 b-frames results in the second-lowest perceptual video quality. To him, and also myself, the difference is visually noticeable, and it is significant.

    My suggestion:

    Allow Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting to, at a minimum, allow you to change source quality parameters, and at best, allow you to change all parameters for all tracks.

19. Allow us to set Twitch volume.

    Whatever the bug is that is causing all streams to open at 100% volume makes for a lot of trouble for the extra loud streams and don't know it will be. Give us a volume control at least in settings that allows us to set the volume for opening a stream. It will require me to turn up or down some streams but makes for a much more pleasant experience than to click to view a stream and feel like it is trying to bust my eardrums.

    I propose that the transmission of the stream of broadcasting from the server to the client can participate and the client itself, that is, from the servers Twitch will transmit to the client and if the speed of the Internet client (participant of the broadcast) allows, he will transmit to one or more other clients (the same broadcast) that will reduce the number of servers for one broadcast with a large online. Technically it is possible to do this only those who use the Twitch application. Of course, this action will slightly increase the delay of the broadcast, but this delay is not significant and will not greatly affect the experience of watching the broadcast. (The client is the streamer's viewers who use the Twitch app on different devices TV, Phone, Tablet)
