Guys, there is a built in translate feature already.

Let's use a hypothetical.

Go to your Twitch chat and type in !sp Good morning my friend. The !sp will translate it into Spanish. If you only speak Spanish type !en and your message. It will translate any language into English.

Another example is you want to thank someone in French for following and subscribing. Here is the way you would do that:

!fr Thank you very much for the follow and the sub! I really appreciate it.

The software will show what you type in English and the result will follow in French.

Es Gibt ein Script was man "nehmen" kann was in Echtzeit per Google translate Den Chat übersetzt. Das Problem ist 7TV emotes oder BTTV emotes diese Werden praktisch auch übersetzt z.B. I would love this, even on my tiny channel have viewers from all around the world due to streaming at various hours and having an auto translate so people can generally get an idea of what's going on in chat would be great, it would really solve the issue of having 3 separate chats going on in one stream because people are speaking in English, Tagalog, and Deutsch.

I would absolutely LOVE to have a feature like this. there are already a variety of extension for closed captions that allow for live translation (for example: https://stream-cc.gooseman.codes/ and i'm sure there are more like this) which, if anyone coming to this idea thread wasn't aware, is NOT what people are asking for/talking about here. closed captions + live translation of what the STREAMER is saying is different than having a feature for being able to, perhaps, click a button on specific CHAT MESSAGES from VIEWERS and translate them to a given language.
I think that, while maybe not everyone finds this to be a necessity, it should probably be viewed as one.
There are a growing number of content creators on the platform that are looking to be able to expand their communities where possible, and language barriers can be easily overcome with the technology we have at our disposal today, and it would be a huge benefit to the Twitch user base as a whole to have something that more easily allows streamers, modders, and viewers to all interact more easily.

I am also looking for way to translate closed captions live, theirs some tools and ways but limited and haven't tried yet myself so chat would be great too. A msut in 2023 caption era for wider reach. Many tools have now ai integration and with that captions. Step up Twitch.

would love to have this. i hang out in a russian stream and i'm translating message by message manually with google. sometimes i want to see what my french streams are doing, and chat moves fast enough that i cant manually translate so most of the time im lost other than whats on screen or if the streamer switches to english to verbally tell us whats going on.

A tool that you can activate/deactivate that translates the chat into your language would be very inclusive for a lot of users and it would give the opportunity to share easier beyond language barriers.

Considering the amount of international players playing games, there could be a multitude of different people from different countries watching the game.

It would be nice to auto-translate any chat messages that are not in the current set language of a person's browser.

Example: Main language is English and being able to read auto-translated Japanese, Spanish, and French in chat so I can read everyone's messages.
