Please give us option to personalize it - on/off. My chat is unreadable for me bacuse of this "improvement"...

We have highlights for a reason. No need to reinvent the wheel when there's nothing wrong with the current design

I agree with completele this one. Twitch has not made to be a forum or as reddit/twitter kind a page. Is a live chat not forum.

In theory I like the idea about threads and catching up with conversations - but it happens far too easily that you open them and then only chat in the thread conversation. Also, it clutters up the chat window. Make threads open in a new windows or something like that.

personally i wouldnt want to use this chat replies/thread feature at all. it only makes stuff more confusing and harder to follow.

This isn't reddit or Twitter. It's a live chat, not a forum. If people can't keep track of their messages to one another or are having an in-depth conversation they take it to whispers.

They cause a lot of clutter, and the only person to benefit from a thread would be the streamer, who will not be using it. It's a neat idea for when a streamer misses an entire conversation in chat, but at that point...just scroll up and if not, too bad so sad. Sometimes people in chat just wanna chat with other people that dont involve the streamer. And they arent the ones getting distracted by an entire chat talking to them. See what I mean?

It's not suited for fast-paced chat, and should be removed.

REMOve it. its shite.

its pretty unnecessary and will probably be implemented badly, focus resources on other stuff maybe then this mostly useless feature
