Such a weird change. It's jarring and honestly just feels like the UI designers are introducing random changes to justify their jobs.

This should definitely be restored to the bottom of the feed. It's where your eyes naturally go when looking for information (and the follow/sub buttons), and having it at the top pushes the video player down, which depending on how you have your display set up could potentially cause part of the player to be cut off.

If Twitch REALLY want to free up that space and have the title at the top of the stream, they should integrate it with the mouse-over overlay instead.

Or they could stop reinventing the wheel in trying to constantly shift things round on the UI, leave what isn't broken, and fix things that are.

This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. Learn more about the new app on our blog and continue to share feedback with us on the improved experience in the mobile category on UserVoice.

Holy **** you guys are STILL pushing this ****? It's awful. Just give us the old app back. Whoever greenlit this has never used Twitch in their lives.

There's no feedback to be given. The current direction cannot be improved short of cutting your losses and torching it. And I would not hire a single UI designer who participated in making it

I thought this was Twitch TV. Not TwitchTok.

This is a completely tone-deaf update that ignores how people use the app. We don't doom scroll lives. We pick a channel and spend an extended period of time watching it and interacting with the streamer.

If you want the rest of your userbase to go to YouTube this is more or less how you do it

We have highlights for a reason. No need to reinvent the wheel when there's nothing wrong with the current design
