Hey all! Wanted to let you know that we recently updated the Teams color so that it looks more interactive and noticeable. We decided to add it to the About panel, because it is more about the streamer - where it was before was more about that particular stream.

We apply IP bans in Chat based on users' Moderation actions in certain cases. We don't currently plan to publicize the logic we use because we think it would make it easier for bad actors to bypass the restriction.

We’re happy to announce that we have released an additional update to address these concerns. Streamers can now prevent their banned users from watching their livestreams. You can find and turn on this feature in the Moderation settings section of the Creator Dashboard, through the “Stop banned users from viewing stream” toggle.
Please note, this update 1). does not prevent users from watching livestreams from an incognito window or while logged out and 2). does not prevent users from viewing VODs, clips or highlights. We plan to explore extending the functionality of bans further, including but not limited to preventing VOD and clip playback.
In addition, we’ve made an update so that users that are blocked will now automatically be blocked from watching a streamer’s livestreams.
We will leave this thread open for your other points regarding preventing view of other content types and account creation.

Hey guys! We really appreciate the feedback that has been brought forth in this thread and just wanted to update you a little bit on what is going on.
This change was originally made to guard against raid bot attacks. While smaller raids are currently viewable in activity feed in the dashboard, we are working on a solution that treats raids equally while guarding against abuse tactics.

An error occurred while saving the comment BucketPls commentedI really really like this idea! When I played Pokemon I did indeed always just go to the latest release due to often playing multiple generations of Pokemon being played at the same time or just because most people searching for Pokemon just want to have a nice chat instead of caring what Pokemon is played!
I also noticed that indeed with bigger franchises like Zelda, Mario and the Soulsborne games I do not really mind which one I am watching, making multiple categories an absolute mess.
Instead I just wish there was a way to click on the franchise and see ALL the streams within that franchise like Jerry written down above. Would actually make me use the searching options within Twitch to search for streams for once.BucketPls supported this idea · -

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!
These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown.

I would LOVE an option like this!
So often that I try to get a jumpscare incentive with channel points or just something fun to spam during stream that just gets ruined by a message in chat announcing what got claimed.
