Horror Category (New Category Idea)
Twitch should add a dedicated horror game category to better support the growing community of horror fans and content creators. Horror games deliver a unique experience full of tension, fear, and emotional reactions that set them apart from other genres. A specific category would make it easier for viewers to discover horror-focused streamers and events, especially during peak seasons like Halloween. It would also shine a spotlight on the countless indie horror titles that often go unnoticed under broader tags. By creating a horror category, Twitch can boost discoverability for both creators and lesser-known games, while embracing a genre that thrives on community engagement and raw, authentic reactions.

Agreed. Given how many titles in horror are indie or have no special category, it's a bit of a disservice that there is no Horror category available so people can use and not worry.
Specially given how much horror games depends on community and engagement.

It would definitely provide the ability to have knowledge going into a stream that spooky/scary things might be occurring for those that don't want that kind of experience. Kind of like RETRO as a category is ephemeral to a degree, it definitely provides context for the viewers to make an informed decision about the streamers they watch and communities they join.

Agreed! It's SO SURPRISING that Horror isn't a category ALREADY!
