This has happened to a friend of mine and since he is unable to use Uservoice at this time I have taken it upon myself to bring this to the attention of Twitch.

I will use his situation to explain the situation otherwise it will be needlessly complicated.

My friend Mao_Senpai received a temporary ban for 182 days.
After the period was up he was still unable to log in onto his account, this issue has persisted for over 2+ years now.

There is no way to inform Support regarding this on the Appeal portal and if it has happened to him it most definitely has happened to others.

Annoyingly there is no category on the Twitch support page to address this kind of issue.
So even though his account is no longer suspended the site still prevents him from logging in, instead he gets send into an infinite loop with the Support bot who at best either resets his password (which doesn't solve the issue) or tells him to go to the appeal page where nothing can be done to rectify or resolve the issue.

This is clearly an issue on the side of Twitch and it has to be resolved cause it is quite honestly a very embarrassing situation.
It also clearly shows that many issues are not looked over or checked by humans which allows these kind of bugs/glitches/mistakes/? to happen.

Even if my friend cannot get his account back due to mistakes made on the end of Twitch I hope that this will kickstart some sort of inquiry into this issue cause these kind of situations just scare people away from the platform.
