Many of us on twitch are multilingual so being able to add multiple language tags would be a great way to reach a wider audience and to reach people learning languages too!

I would love this. I mostly speak Spanish in my streams but I'm fully bilingual so some times when I'm joking with friends or talking in game chat i speak English. Would love to be able to put that my stream is both in Spanish and English and not just have to add [ESP/ENG] To all my tittles but only be able to set it as Spanish or English in the tags

Please add that feature. It could be useful, as for me I speak English, German and Russian. It would be nice to show up in that regions while streaming.

I was wondering if we could get the ability to add language tags to our streams. For example if I'm a streamer who speaks both Spanish and English at a native level, then I could set both of those and users who are only looking for a Spanish stream or only looking for an English stream, then my stream will show up for both types of viewers.

Of course, if I abuse this and I don't really speak Spanish, viewers could report this kind of abuse and have my ability to have language tags revoked.

Also, I would propose that streamers not be allowed to use more than three language tags. Why? Czech and Slovak are (mostly) mutually intelligible (if you know one language you know about 70% of the other) and Polish is mildly intelligible with the two languages I just mentioned. I have heard, however, that professional translators never learn to use more than three languages professionally.

I could also see a practical case for streamers like former LoL world champion ToyZ, who speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

As a polyglot speaking 6+ languages this is definitely something I would love to have. This should have automatically been the case, I support this.

I think using English brings in more viewers than my native language, hence why I usually set my streams' language to English. However, I personally know some people that only know Spanish and would like to watch me, so I speak Spanish for people like them, but doing that when the stream's language is set to English doesn't quite feel right, while setting it to Spanish won't allow English speakers to find me. Every time I'm about to go live it's a hassle to choose between the two.
Bilingual streamers could simply select multiple languages and everyone who speaks at least one of those would easily find them, as well as immediately know that they'll be able to communicate with and understand the streamer in question upon seeing them in the "Browse" tab.

I wonder why this isn't implemented yet.

Right now the option is to only choose one language at a time, but I have fans in two different languages, as do many bilingual streamers and language learners. Right now I have to switch between the two depending on the type of stream I'm doing, when I'd rather be making universal content.

I have my English language viewers but breaks my heart I can’t label Italian as well.

I can speak 3 languages (Hungarian\English\German). But if I set English as the stream language, my fellow Hungarians will never find me. But if I set to Hungarian, I will never grow, as the country itself is small, and we do not have so many viewers. So...unlimited language options on the stream would be very good! Please implement it!

I stream in English and Spanish, sometimes focusing on one or the other, or jumping between the two when I have a lot of other bilingual speakers in chat. Without multiple language tags, it's hard to communicate to potential and new viewers language use. I don't want to neglect viewers in either language, but I have to choose one or the other in official designations for the stream. As is, it just feels incomplete.
