The Turbo Button
Currently, on both light and dark themes the "Get Ad Free" button - that subscribes you to Turbo is almost completely hidden due to the background color of the button blends with the page background.
Currently the buttons background uses the CSS:
background-color: var(--color-background-button-secondary-default);
The fact that the button uses its own special variable separate from the other buttons on the channel pages tells me that this is an intentional design choice. I feel like this choice is doing more harm than good. If the button was purple, or
background-color: var(----color-background-button-primary-default); like all the other buttons on the pages it would draw more attention to its self. More Turbo members would be beneficial to Twitch as a company, and to streamers on platform.

Twitch has a purple theme with buttons why not make this one purple too?

As an HTML coder, this is a quick fix. Let see it happen. No reason not too

A huge feature that affects the whole website and service is hidden away into a corner with a grey button.
It's awfully terrible that firstly, the viewers don't know about the feature to make use of it. Secondly, the creators don't know about the benefits of viewers having it and thus never seem to promote it.
This is a feature that is heavily underutilized and I think a large number of viewers will LOVE to know about it and use it.
Make it bright purple and please inform the creators on its benefits.

So hard to see and yet alone to understand.
Some greater overview of why this can be more effective for people who use Twitch's platform to watch many other streams. In exception to subscribing to 3-4+ channels per month instead of getting Turbo which would do the same thing (watching without ads). -

As a design choice for a feature that makes Twitch and it's streamers money, this one is baffling. The turbo button should be a glowing platinum neon RGB light show. To tuck it into the corner in the same gray is like someone hated the idea of Twitch Turbo and said "Yo, hide that thing. We gotta put it there but hide it as much as you can."
If it makes Twitch money AND makes the streamers money, accentuate it. Don't hide it. No matter what the Turbo hater says! -

100% agree. This will make it stand out for more users and if done right, it will demonstrate that Twitch is serious about Turbo!

Agreed, with it greyed out like that it looks more like an unusable button than one users are supposed to click on. Nearly everywhere else on the net an option being greyed out means it's unusable, so it's really weird that twitch would have a feature they want its users to use be greyed out like this.

Turbo makes the whole Twitch experience much better. I get better enjoyment each day from Turbo than I do from Netflix/HBO/Prime/whatever. If the pricing is viable for Twitch and it brings good income for the streamers, you should have this CTA more visible and advertise it more.

I can agree to this, i also would like to know that if i sub to turbo and to the channel i like, does me having turbo and a sub to the channel does the streamer still get paid for ads?

This makes so much sense and I hope twitch listens.

I also noticed that and it felt like an odd decision. The change of the button would be a win win win situation for the streamers, platform and viewers. Many viewers dont even know the full capacity of what turbo actually does so this would help this as well.

This suggestion should be made into a change. Many of us were not even aware the button existed until it was brought to our attention during a stream where it was being spoken about how the button is barely noticeable. The turbo button needs far more visibility than it currently has.

If not for few Streamers pointing out that this button is for Twitch Turbo I would have never known, since it is blending into the background so much. This design decision is so wild to me I started thinking if Twitch intentionally hides this option for some reason kekW

As someone who is hoping to become more popular on this platform, I would like to see more possibilities for streamers and the platform to grow. I believe that this would help.

This makes a lot of sense, visuals are always super important for communicating with users, and Turbo is an interesting way to do that that I barely ever see talked about. More visibility could invite more discussion, even if it's just people noticing it for the first time and asking questions.

i agree completly, id even say that the current design is just a way so that people dont ask for the feature 7

Please take this into consideration!
A lot of people have AdBlock and there's no hiding it, imagine if we didn't need it on twitch AND supported creators universally?
Promote this.
